The Creative Cottage Challenge #4 - Pretty Pink

Good morning! Today there's a new challenge over at The Creative Cottage Challenge Blog and the theme is 'Pretty Pink'. How easy is that?! We'd love to see your creations with all things PINK! Well here's my DT card, I've gone all out on the pink theme...

I've used the Bella Ballerina kit from The Creative Cottage, that includes my cute ballerina image and the all papers! I've added a touch of lace using my MS Doily Lace punch, a bit of ribbon and some cute flowers and pearls! The little sentiment is from a Papermania clear stamp set. The other girls on the Design Team have made some fabulous cards, pop over to check them out! Remember you don't have to use Creative Cottage products to take part (but they're gorgeous so why not treat yourself) and don't forget there's a prize for one lucky winner...it's a brand new kit which comes out tomorrow...check on my blog tomorrow morning for more info!

Cupcake Craft Challenge #84

Happy Monday everyone... today it's my turn to choose the challenge over at Cupcake Craft Challenge, and as I'm a lover of chocolate I've chosen a rather yummy ...

Spring or Easter with lots of Chocolate

I just couldn't resist, what with Easter on the horizon, and the thought of all those lovely choccy eggs! So for the challenge you have to create something with a Spring/Easter theme... but you must include lots of the colour chocolate... you can even include real chocolate in your projects (I would have done this but unfortunately I ate it before it reached my craft room)!

For my DT card I just had to use this little bunny from Lili of the Valley... he's the cutest... and the papers are a mixture of The Creative Cottage & Pink Petticoat (I haven't used these PP papers for ages). I've coloured using Promarkers, paper-pieced the balloon and added some flowers, ribbon and gems for good measure. If you're interested, Lili of the Valley have some super tutorials on how to colour this little fella using Promarkers/Copics... you can find them HERE.

The other girls on the Design Team have made some yummy creations to inspire you (or make you drool), so pop over to Cupcake and take a peek! We are sponsored this week by Sunshine Stamps, who are giving away 3 digi stamps to one lucky random winner! Plus don't forget if you're chosen as one of our Top 5 you can display our little Top 5 badge with pride on your blog!

I'm entering my card for the Simon Says Stamp challenge 'Spring/Easter with a bit of glimmer' ... my glimmer is the little gems, and also the Stamp Something challenge which is 'Doodle Something'... I've doodled the stitching and the brown paper is has doodles on it.

I also wanted to say a special thank you to the lovely Beverly, she has given me this sweet blogger award and said some very kind things about me over on her blog, thanks so much Beverly... it's really sweet of you to think of me! Your lovely award has definately cheered me up a little, thanks so much sweetie!

THANK YOU to all my blogging friends!

No Mojo - NO Cards!

Hello! No cards from me today, and I apologise before I start as I'm going to have a little rant so feel free to blog off and visit someone else, I'm not good company today. I'm feeling a little down in the dumps; yesterday I had the mother of all migraines so went to bed around 6pm... I suspect it might have something to do with the length of time I spend on the PC each day! On top of that things are all over the place here... lets just say I'm at a point where I need to make some decisions which aren't going to be easy! You can only put things off for so long... needless to say because of all this my Mojo has been washed away by all this rain we've been having lately! I hope that things get sorted out soon, and that I'll be back to my old self 'cos I'm doing my own head in! So if I'm not about much at the moment, you know why (other than for my DT obligations which I will of course be posting).
Hope you all have a good weekend, don't forget to put your clocks forward an hour tonight!

Just Resting My Eyes

Good evening... this is my second post today, scroll down if you would like to see my DT card for The Creative Cottage Challenge, thanks!

Now, any of you recognise this little quote? I have to say I was in stitches when I saw this on a new Papermania stamp set... this has got to be one of my dad's all time favourite sayings! My hubby bought me these new stamps by Papermania recently... this set 'A Man's World' series and is called 'Couch Potato', it has some great little sentiments and images (both sentiment and image are from this set) . I stamped the quote then hand drew the speech bubble around it. I've used the sketch over at Friday Sketchers, I think it goes well with the papers which are Basic Grey 'Archaic'. I thought I'd do a bit of paper piecing with the same papers, a technique I don't do often but I really like the results! I'm entering the following challenges: ABC Challenge Q is for Quote (my dad's fave), Friday Sketchers - Claudia's fab sketch and Fab 'n Funky Challenge 'All In The Technique' (my techniques are paper piecing and colouring with markers).
Well, hubby is watching the footie... I would join him had it been Newcastle playing but instead I'll pop into my craftroom for a little play! Have a lovely evening ;)

The Creative Cottage Challenge #3 SPARKLE

Good morning blogging buddies! Isn't it just great to see the sun shining when you get up in the morning... well it's shining here anyway!

Today is the 3rd challenge over at The Creative Cottage Challenge, I can't believe it's been 3 weeks already! Thanks for all your support for those of you who have joined us, and for those who haven't yet then what better time than NOW! This week we'd like to see 'SPARKLE' on your creations... easy peasy! Remember you can use ANY products, you're not restricted to using The Creative Cottage products.

Well... as you can see from my DT card, it's a 'boy' card... impressed? I've used the Little Monkeys Pirate Adventures digi kit, I think this have got to be my fave kit... I just LOVE the papers! For my sparkle I've added silver ribbon, shiny stars and a silver birthday greeting (I never use peel offs but this just seemed perfect for the challenge). The zig zag border is done with my Martha Stewart punch, and the 'brads' are card candy from Craftwork Cards.

I'm entering my card in the Cute Card Thursday challenge 'Happy Anniversary'... you can have Birthday too!

Well, hope you get a chance to play along with us this week, don't forget to take a peek at the other DT girls' creations... they're stunning! Plus there's a fab Party Nights Paper Pack up for grabs for one lucky winner!

Lili of the Valley Friends

Hello! I just couldn't resist another little spending spree when I saw the new stamps at Lili of the Valley... this is my first purchase from this company and I wasn't disappointed... how cute are these little friends?! The stamp is called "Me & my cat"... I love it... reminds me of my little cat Réglisse! I've coloured the stamp with Promarkers, in nice spring colours. The papers are from Papermania (Creative Tones) and The Creative Cottage (the green with pink spots), the ribbon is also Papermania. I've used the sketch from the Lili of the Valley Challenge so I'll enter my card, first time for me. I'm also entering the challenge set by Denise at Passion for Promarkers "Springtime creations but you must include an animal"... mine has lovely spring flowers and of course the cutest little cat!

Well today I've spent some time SPRING CLEANING... yep you read right I've been doing housework. Well I have to say I wasn't too fond of the idea of getting started but now I've done some I must admit I feel good. I've still got loads to do, but I did mop all the floors today (we have tiled floors) so at least the house smells clean & fresh! So I figured that tonight I need a nice refreshing shower and then a relaxing evening! Hope you have a lovely evening too!

Cupcake Craft Challenge #83 Food & Drink

Bonjour mes amis! Ah ha... that got your brains working a bit harder on a Monday morning! Oo la la! He he he... just playing! Another Monday, another Cupcake Craft Challenge! This week the theme has been chosen by the lovely Liza, can you guess what it is from my card? It's "FOOD & DRINK"... something that the French are VERY good at lol! When I first came to France I couldn't believe how many HOURS the French spent at the table everyday... for lunch us Brits are content with a quick sandwich, but oh no that's unheard of in France, here they virtually have a five course meal! And the women still stay skinny...aaarrgh! Well unfortunately this regime didn't work for me :(

Anyhow, back to the challenge... we'd love to see anything related to food & drink on your creations this week! We have a super sponsor this week, Cupcake Card Craft,
who are kindly offering one lucky winner £10.00 worth of digi products from their store! My fellow Design Team girls have made some fab cards this week, sure to provide you will lots of inspiration... just click here to see what they've come up with.

My card has been inspired by my french connections, but mainly because I received the little giraffe stamp a few weeks back and hadn't inked him up. I also used some French words stamps to make the little bit of paper behind Lofty... here's what else I used...
  • Lofty The Giraffe stamp & accessories (Joanna Sheen)
  • Colouring medium - Promarkers
  • French words stamps
  • Red & blue paper - Little Monkeys Pirate Adventure Digi Kit -The Creative Cottage
  • Stampin Up Scalloped circle punch
  • Woodware round punch
  • Ribbon from stash

I've used Debbi's sketch from the Passion For Promarkers challenge, so shall enter my card and the challenge at Creative Card Crew is "Going Dotty" so will enter that challenge too (dotty papers). Thanks for popping by today, and don't forget to have a go at the Cupcake Craft Challenge this week! We're looking forward to seeing your yummy creations!

Birthday Cake Anya but no cake!

Good evening blogging friends! Just a quick hello as I'm taking my usual seat for "Dancing on Ice" in a little while, but I wanted to share with you a card I made for the challenge over at Quixotic Challenges... Altered Anya & Friends...

This is Birthday Cake Anya... but there's no cake! Has she ate it? Nope, I've altered her so that she's just plain Anya with no cake! That's the challenge... you have to alter a stamped image. Basically I didn't ink up the part of the stamp where the cake was (right side of her head), and I drew in the details to match the left side (you can see where my lines are a bit wobbly). I've also added a little sweetie button to her hairband. The papers are from a Dovecraft 6x6 pad, ribbon is Doodlebug and the sentiment is Artemio (it reads "I'm thinking of you"). Anya is coloured with Promarkers.

What happened to England last night? Flipping heck... I've had to keep a low profile today 'cos someone was bound to rub my nose in the fact that we got beat by France in the 6 Nations! Obviously hubby was chuffed! Oh well, better luck next year! Thanks so much for popping by, have a lovely Sunday evening!

Spring Flowers

Yey, it's the weekend! Hope you're all having a good one, we've got some early April showers here, I don't mind a bit though as it's doing my garden the world of good! My spring flowers are finally starting to bloom, so I used them as inspiration for a couple of cards...

This is Popcorn the Bear, and he's a very big bear! The stamp, as you can see on the piccy, took up almost all of my 5" square card. I've kept this really simple, just a few pearls as I wanted Popcorn to be the main focal point. He's coloured with Promarkers, oh I do love my Promarkers! I'm entering him into a few challenges... Allsorts "Spring is in the Air", Simon Says Stamp "A Splash of Green", Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge "Spring has Sprung" and By the Cute & Girly "Spring is in the Air". I'm loving all the yellows and greens, very Springlike!

Ok, my second card for today is one using a Penny Black image (sorry don't know the name), again coloured with Promarkers. I've used papers and the little border strip from The Creative Cottage, the pearls and ribbon (Artemio) are from my stash. I think this is a little plain, but I didn't know what else to add without it looking strange. It's for two challenges, Papertake Weekly Challenge which is "Lilac & Lemon" and A Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge has "Easter" as their theme.

Well, it'll be bedlam in our house tonight with France playing England in the Six Nations... come on England! If we get beaten by France I'll never live it down!

Shiver me Timbers!

Hello again! It's almost the weekend... how time flies! I've not done much crafting over the last few days, and there's been no shivering going on as the sun has been shining lots and so I've made the most of the spring weather and done a bit of gardening! Hopefully in a few months time I'll be eating some lovely juicy homegrown strawberries!
BUT... I just couldn't resist having a little play with my new "Cutthroat Lizzie" stamp from Kraftin Kimmie, teamed up with the fabulous papers from The Creative Cottage Monkeys Pirate Adventure! I've coloured Lizzie with Promarkers, doesn't she look cool?! I made the little round "charm" using the accessory stamp that came with Lizzie, covered it with Glossy Accents and added the beads to fit in with the challenge at Kraftin Kimmie which is "Just Bead It". I really like how it came out, I never use beads on my cards as they seem fiddly but I just glued the beads using a strong glue, and to my surprise they stuck! I'm also entering my card into the Fab 'n Funky Challenge "It's all New"... my new element being my stamp and the beads!
Well, off to do a bit of crafting before I start getting withdrawl symptoms! Thanks ever so much for popping by today and hope you have a lovely weekend!

The Creative Cottage Challenge #2 Flowers

Hello, hope you're all having a good week so far! Spring is making me feel much better in myself, a bit of sunshine makes all the difference! Today at The Creative Cottage Challenge we are embracing Spring with our second challenge as the theme is "FLOWERS"! Fab! Now I know we're all able to make a card with flowers on it, so you really must have a go! Here's my Design Team card for the challenge...

I've used some lovely papers from the Fairy Wishes kit at The Creative Cottage, aren't they pretty?! My image is a new one from Tina Wenke at Stampavie, coloured with Promarkers. I've added a little teapot charm attached to the ribbon, these are from Quixotic Paperie and are just so cute! Remember you can use ANY products from ANY manufacturer for the challenge, but we need to see Flowers somewhere on your project! Pop over to The Creative Cottage blog and check out the other DT creations, they're so pretty! This week we have a lovely prize for one lucky winner, a "Something Sweet" digi kit is up for grabs!

Handmade Paper Flowers

Hi! Today I've had a go at making some DIY flowers... they took a little while to do but I think they're kinda cute! For each flower I stamped a flower image 3 times (I chose one that was fairly easy to cut out), then I coloured each with Distress inks and cut them out. I curled each petal with my paper folder tool (like you would do with curling ribbon) and added glitter glue. Finally I layered them up and added little brads for the centres. Voila!

My card is for the Wags 'n Whiskers Challenge where you have to make your own flowers... I've used the cute Wags 'n Whiskers stamp "Budding Artists", coloured with Promarkers. The paper is K & Co and the sentiment stamp is from Rachelle Anne Miller for Stampavie (Sentiments 2 set). The little piece of lace was given to me by my FIL and is french vintage lace that my hubby's gran had. I'm also entering my card into the Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge "Anything Goes" and also the CRAFT Challenge as the theme is Citrus... funny but my card reminds me of blood oranges!

Cupcake Craft Challenge - Going Green!

Good Morning! Well Spring has finally arrived I think, the weather is just GORGEOUS! Can you believe it's even 20°c here! The sun is shining and the sky is the most beautiful blue... I just love the start of Spring when the birds are singing and the new shoots are beginning to show their green tips! Speaking of green, that's the theme chosen by Kathrin for the Cupcake Craft Challenge this week "Going Green"! We'd like you to include the colour green on your projects, whether they're to celebrate St. Patrick's Day this week or not. It's entirely up to you as long as you use lots of GREEN! I've done a St. Patty's Day card for my friend who lives in Paris, although she's an Irish girl! Hope she likes it! Here's what I used:
  • Digi Stamp Image - Paper Make Up Stamps
  • Colouring Medium - Promarkers
  • Paper - 3ndy Papir
  • Embossing - Cuttlebug
  • Flowers - Prima
  • Raffia - Bunny Zoe's Crafts
  • Pearls - Quixotic Paperie
  • Buttons from stash (white one is pinched from hubby's shirt)

This week at Cupcake we're lucky enough to be sponsored by Stitchy Stamps who are offering 3 Digi stamps to the lucky winner! You even get to choose your stamps! The other girls on the Design Team have made some lovely projects so pop over to check out all the inspiration! Don't forget to leave a comment to show some appreciation for their work!

I shall be entering my card into a few challenges; Colour Create Challenge would like you to use the colours Mint, Chocolate and Cream on your creations (I just loved their inspiration piccy this week...so yummy), Stamp Something are asking for something GREEN & CREAM, Totally Paper Crafts would like us to use Things With Wings, Fussy & Fancy Challenge want to see GREEN and Flutter By Wednesdays celebrate their 100th challenge, an open one but you have to include something fluttery (in my case a fairy)!

Well, hope you have a lovely day, and that the sun is smiling where you are!

Mothering Sunday

Well today is Mother's Day in the UK and as I can't be with my mam today (a little question of me being on the other side of The English Channel and about 600 miles between us) I sent some flowers and rang her to tell her how much I love and appreciate her. It's times like this when we really miss our family, I know I miss out on lots of family get togethers, but they're always in my thoughts! So my first card today is a Thinking of You card...

I was lucky enough to win some Mini Hannah stamps from The Pixie Cottage lately, and have used one of the stamps on my card, there's 6 cuties in the set! Thanks Michelle, they're lovely! So I'm entering my card into the challenge at The Pixie Cottage as you have to use the colour green on your card. I've used Promarkers to colour, and the papers are MME Asparagus. I've used the fab sketch at Papertake Weekly Challenge too. I found the card a little plain even with the flower so I added a few stamped details to give it more interest... I really like the effect around the sentiment, what da you think? The stamps I used for this are Studio G, I'm sure they cost about 99p for the set of 4 clear stamps. Bargain!

My second card is very different, not so cute but quite quirky! I've used Polly the Bar Wench stamp from Kraftin Kimmie (coloured with Promarkers), she's a bit naughty...

This is a miss match of leftovers from my craftroom; the dotty paper is from The Creative Cottage, it's part of the Monkey Pirates Adventure digi kit (there's some fab paper in this... I'll show you more very soon as I have another card on the go with this), the other paper is a scrap piece I had leftover from many moons ago! The red flowers are Prima, and the sentiment is a Kraftin Kimmie one. I've used another sketch, this time it's from Iris at Simon Says Stamp, another fab one!

Well, I shall go and spend a little time with hubby (more like pester him), not that I expect he'll want to know as he's watching the rugby (France v Italy), oh well, I'll just have to make another card then :)

Hope you all have a lovely Sunday, especially all the mothers, mams, mums... lots of hugs!

Penny Black Friday

Hello! Wow, I can't believe I managed to stay off the net for a whole 24 hours! Well, as you can see it didn't last long, but I did do a card yesterday... I'll photograph it later and put it on my blog. In the meantime, I've done a card for Mother's Day with one of my new PB Slapstick stamps...
It's been a while since I used a PB stamp, and my hubby bought me this one recently so I thought it'd be perfect for my MD card... I have to say these new Slapstick stamps from Penny Black are great value for money... you get the BIG size stamp but it doesn't leave a whole in your pocket... they stamp just as well having the cling cushion behind the stamp and they take up lots less room. I still like the wooden stamps but these Slapsticks are fast becoming my fave PB stamps! As for the card, I'm thinking I may have overdone the flowers but it is for MD after all! The card is for the Penny Black Saturday Challenge where you have to make an easel card... these are great fun to make and look fabulous finished. If you haven't made one yet I have found a couple of good tutorials (in my side bar - scroll down) that might interest you. I'm also entering the card for the Cute Card Thursday Challenge "Celebrations"...what better thing to celebrate than MUMS! Here's what I used...
  • Penny Black Slapstick Stamp "you are the bestest"
  • Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
  • Colouring medium Promarkers
  • Sentiment Paper Make Up Stamps
  • SU Scalloped Round Punch
  • Paper 8x8 Flowery Pad Papermania
  • Prima Flowers
  • Pearls Quixotic Paperie
  • Ribbon/button/glitter from stash

Well, that's all for the time being... I shall be back later with another Penny Black card! Thanks for popping by!

POST UPDATED

As promised, here's the second card I've made using another of my new Penny Black Slapstick stamps, I just love this cute hedgehog and snail...

The stamp is called "garden visit"... I think it's soooo cute! I've coloured with Promarkers, I can't draw myself away from these now! The sentiment is from "Sentiments 2" set by Rachelle Anne Miller for Stampavie (these are gorgeous sentiment stamps), I won this set from Stampavie! The papers are My Minds Eye "Bloom & Grow". I've used the lovely sketch over at Sketch Saturday for this card, another one I'll use again I'm sure! I'm also entering this into the Passion for Promarkers challenge as I've used the colours "Bright Green & Mango" (amongst others) on the pot and grass. Finally the challenge at Stampavie & More is to use orange on your card. Well, thanks for taking the time to pop by, hope you all have a lovely weekend!

No work and all play...

Good morning to you all! I don't know about you but I seem to spend more time on the PC blogging etc than crafting these days. And once I start I go off on a tangent... it begins by "I'll just put my card on my blog...then oooh I'll visit a friend or two" and before I know it 2 hours have gone by! Well, despite my addiction to the internet, I've been quite productive the last day or two so have a few things to share with you, the first is a card I made using the sketch over at Friday Sketchers...

I've used my new stamp from Kraftin Kimmie, how cute!? The papers are from Papermania Creative Tones "Amethyst Infusion", not papers I use often but I think they're just perfect for this sketch. The image is coloured using Promarkers, and the little sentiment is from Penny Black. I used my We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper to round the corners, sometimes I forget about this but I think it makes a nice job. Finally my MS Doily Lace punch for the border.

My second little card is actually a gift tag, it's for the Wags 'n Whiskers challenge where you have to make a tag or bookmark. The stamp is Aynsley's Surprise (Wags 'n Whiskers); I've only used part of it as the tag is quite small. The paper is from The Creative Cottage, and I've added a little daisy using my Woodware punch and a ribbon bow to attach the tag. All framed with my Nestabilities.
Ok, my stash is feeling rather neglected, so instead of spending all free time on here, I shall try to do a card today! Happy Crafting to you all!

Yay...today is the launch of the Creative Cottage Challenge Blog... and in keeping with the occassion our very first challenge is NEW. Cupcake Craft Challenges - Flower Power

Good morning! Another Monday, another chance to take part in Cupcake Craft Challenge! This week the theme is "Flower Power" to coincide with Mother's Day in the UK on March 14th. So we'd like to see flowers on your cards, although I have to admit my brain was elsewhere when I made my DT card as I've put less flowers on my card than usual DOH!!!

This week the DT was given an image from Digital Delights, our kind sponsor for the challenge. I chose Lara Ladybug (coloured); it's not often I use pre-coloured images but this little ladybug prints out beautifully. I've used a sentiment I did on the PC too, so this card is really very DIGI!
  • Image - Lara Ladybug (coloured) Digital Delights
  • Sentiment - typed on my PC
  • Paper - Dovecraft (from a really old pack)
  • Pearls/beads - Quixotic Paperie
  • Ribbon & charm from my stash
  • Flower - Woodware Daisy Punch/Card Candy for centre
  • Corner - MS Scalloped Dots Corner Punch

I'm entering my card into the Colour Create Challenge, which is Red, Black & Off White (I really like this colour combo, but not one I'd usually choose), and also the Dare U 2 Digi Stamp where the team would like to see Pearls on your creations.

Hopefully you'll be able to join us for the challenge this week, how easy could it be (well apart for me that is lol)! Have a great start to the week!

Out of sorts and a freebie

Good afternoon blogging friends! Although the sun is shining (do you think Spring is finally on it's way?) I'm feeling a little out of sorts today :( I hope I'm not coming down with something, Ifeel so tired and aching all over. I'm not going to moan though, hubby bought me a few goodies as a surprise so I shall force myself to make a card, if I don't I'll end up sleeping. I do have a couple of cards I made yesterday to show you...

This card is for my friend who is moving to Chile on Monday, what a life changing move... I've used my Genevieve Kraftin Kimmie stamp, isn't she great! This is for the Kraftin Kimmie Challenge where you have to use "Something Old"... I've used my K & Co paper which I've had for ages, and also some garden string which is definately old! I've also used the colour Green for the Cute Card Thursday challenge "Lucky Green".

For my second card I've used this cute kitten image, which was a free digi stamp from Motivet stamps, you can find him HERE. Don't you just love a freebie?! I'm entering this card into the Quixotic Challenge "Leave it out" where you have to use leaves on your card and also the Mojo Monday Challenge as I've used their fab sketch.

Digi Stamp - Motivet
Colouring - Promarkers

Papers - Tea Party - Stampin' Up
Sentiment - Paper Make Up Stamps

Flowers - Woodware Punches, Card Candy Craftwork Cards

Corners - Martha Stewart Scalloped Dots Corner Punch

Ok, blogger is playing funny and won't do what I ask so I'm saying by for now, I don't have the strength or patience to fight with him! Happy Crafting!

Blushing Bunnies

Good evening! Well, what a relief to see the sun today! Things just seem so much better when the sun shines! So as I've got a little spring in my step today I thought I'd put it to good use, so I made this little card using the lovely sketch over at the Penny Black Saturday challenge...

The stamp is of course Penny Black, it's called "bun buns"... I've coloured the little bunnies with Promarkers. The papers are Stampin' Up "Tea Party". I've also added some pearls from Quixotic Paperie for good measure! Finally the challenge at Passion for Promarkers is "Back to Nature"... I think the bunnies and flowers count don't they?! Roll on Spring!

Wags 'n Whiskers Freestyle

This is my second post for today...wow I'm even impressing myself lol! Just wanted to pop on this little card for the Wags 'n Whiskers challenge which is "Freestyle" this week. Well as I could do anything I just had to make a card (like I need an excuse)...

The image is "Bear Hug", I think this is one of my faves from this range. I've coloured with Promarkers and added just a few flowers, ribbon and raffia. No sentiment as I haven't decided what purpose the card will serve, well it is freestyle! The other challenge I'm entering this one in is Simon Says Stamp challenge "Mother's Day/Girly".
Off to get my PJ's on now! Happy crafting ;)

Girls can do anything!

Hi! I'm making the most of my productive streak by catching up on a few card orders, this first one is for a wedding this summer (how organised am I lol) . The lady who ordered it didn't want a traditional cream card, so instead asked for something with dark reds. She also chose this sweet image having seen it on a card I'd done for my hubby...

I've followed the fab sketch from Friday Sketchers, this one's a keeper! I've also followed the challenge at Papertake Weekly which is buttons, bows, brads & bling! The papers are basic grey and the image is Sugar Nellie, coloured with Promarkers. I've added some heart brads and a yummy bit of satin ribbon for good measure!

My second card is one I made for fun with one of my Kraftin Kimmie stamps, I think this little darling just brings a smile to anyone's face...

This is for the challenge over at the Kraftin Kimmie blog, which is "buttons & bows". The paper is from My Minds Eye Wild Asparagus 6x6 pad. I've also used a sentiment stamp from the Kraftin Kimmie range (how true is that statement!!!)... and the little accessory heart stamp too. Again the colouring is with Promarkers.

Thanks for popping by today!
