Hoppy Days

Hiya peeps! Just wanted to share this little card today, the stamp is one of the new release digital stamps from Little Miss Muffet Stamps. It's from the Swings 'n Slides Collection and is called Hoppy Days... I LOVE the little frog! You can find the stamp HERE at Little Miss Muffet Stamps. I coloured with a mixture of Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Copics. You can find lots more inspiration from Little Miss Muffet Stamps over on our Facebook page HERE.

Today (like yesterday) has been a very trying day as a mammy... Darcie suffers from reflux and for the past few days she has been really irritable (even more than usual if that's possible), and the poor little mite has been crying almost non-stop! It just breaks my heart to see her like this and I don't know what to do to make it better for her (apart from all the usual stuff to help relieve her). Nothing seems to settle her except holding her and walking around the house, or taking her out for a walk in the pram. As a consequence I've had NO time to spend crafting and blogging, so I do apologise AGAIN for not visiting you all. I really hope she's feeling better tomorrow as Grandmere is looking after her while I go to the dentist!

On a positive note, I have a picture of Darcie to share with you...
Thanks for popping by, big hugs xx

Super Hero!!!

Hiya friends! I am so sorry I haven't been around to visit you all yet, LIFE as I know it is not the same with a 3 month old baby! But I wouldn't swap her for the world... I just can't seem to draw myself away from her! Anyway, here's a little Super Hero card I want to share with you. His name is Super Spencer and you can find him in Digi form over at Little Miss Muffet Stamps! Also pop by our Facebook page HERE
Right... off to feed a crying baby... hugs!

Lil' Monster at Little Miss Muffet Stamps

Hi everyone! Do you know it's been an absolute age since I've made a card and to say I'm a little rusty is an understatement! Anyway, here's my first offering in a long while, a little inspiration... you can find this card on the Little Miss Muffet Facebook Group page today. This little chap is called Swings 'n Slides Lil' Monster and can be found at Little Miss Muffet Stamps
Apologies for the dodgy colouring... I am very out of practice!
Thanks for popping by today!

Has it been THAT long?

Wow it seems like forever since I've been here... well since I've blogged. Thank you for all the kind comments and wishes of congratulations on the birth of our baby girl! I have to say I have been VERY busy looking after her... and how time has flown! Can't believe that Darcie is already 3 months old! We've had a bit of a trying time, Darcie suffers from reflux which wasn't picked up until she was almost a month old so it's been a worrying time, but we're managing it and she seems a little happier. Anyway, here are a few pictures of her...
@ 6 weeks
almost 3 months (this pic and one below)
She has changed so much from that tiny baby we brought home from the hospital in July! Such a cutie, and she's got all her buttons on to! I love her so much!

Ok, that's it for today, but I'll be back VERY soon with some cards, promise! Looking forward to getting back into things ;)

My Gorgeous Daughter, Darcie Alice Hope

Just a quick post... I have been rather busy lately! I'd just like to introduce the newest member of our family, our first baby! Darcie Alice Hope arrived on the 7th of July 2014, weighing 2.780kg and measuring 47cm. Mammy and baby are doing just fine, although the labour was not a piece of cake (OMG thought I was dying), but we were rewarded with a beautiful, baby girl! She's just perfect, and we can't believe how lucky we are! Here's a few pictures...

Remember Me?

OK, so I've been absent for quite some time... sorry! I do have an excuse though... I'm almost 38 weeks pregnant! I haven't done any crafting, or blogging for weeks now, just feeling exhausted and have had other things on my mind. Anyway, here's an update on my bump...
My bump @ 32 Weeks
This is at 35 weeks (notice the tree on the wall... stickers, I love it!) Bear isn't looking too impressed!
And today (almost 38 weeks)... not much difference from 35 weeks but baby has grown and weighs 2.7kg now (approx).
And finally a pic of baby's room, part of it anyhow. We now have a cot which is on the left, next to the mobile (didn't have it when I took this picture). Hope baby will like the room!

Oh... just to say baby is now head down... HURRAY! But the bad news is that they may have to induce me  early (I have a few health concerns with the pregnancy)... I'm really scared that the induction will not go to plan and I end up having a C section!

Thank you so much for popping by, I'm sure I've lost some of you by now but if you still visit... THANK YOU! I hope to be doing a card or two soon too! Big hugs xx

Baby's Room Update...

Hiya peeps!

You've probably all lost interest in my blog by now, I'm not doing any crafting at the moment. I have got some pictures to share with you though... we've been busy doing baby's room, it's not quite finished, but my Dad came over and did all the decorating (We went for white & grey), so it's just the finishing touches to do really. Here's a sneak peek so far...
I made a quilt and some bunting for baby's room, here's a few close ups...

Quilt and Bunting (I love this pretty cotton material, it's from Dunelm/Yorkshire Trading... and it can be 'boy' or 'girl')
The Bunting
The Quilt (front and back)
There are some fab tutorials on the net for making quilts/bunting... and it didn't take that long to make these (and I'm a beginner really). The bunting was really simple to do, and I think it looks quite cute!

The room isn't totally finished, we have the crib to add and a few more things... I'll take a few pictures when all is done so you can see it all finished. Hopefully I'll be back crafting/blogging soon too!

I'm now almost 33 weeks pregnant, and my baby bump is definately growing. I had a scan last week, all ok except that baby is breech!!! I have some excercises to do to encourage baby to turn head down... if not it'll be a programmed C-Section delivery. I'm keeping all fingers crossed that baby decides to turn! Has anyone had any experience of baby turning late on? I see my doctor mid-June so baby needs to turn before!

Thanks for popping by today! And thanks for not losing interest in my blog, for those who are here LOL :)
