Favourite Five of 2012

Hi peeps! I hope you're enjoying the festive season this year... not long now and it'll all be over with! My tree is starting to look a little dry and sad... it only has to last one more day!

Well as I was on my travels in blogland I popped by Debby's blog and saw she'd chosen her Favourite Five of 2012... and very lovely they are too. She has some lovely candy on her blog for those who'd like to share their favourites from 2012... so here's my Favourite Five of 2012...

This was my guest design project for Little Miss Muffet Stamps... I love the bright colours and of course the flying horse ;) You can find the post HERE

I just love the simplcity and beauty of the flower, and of course the message. You can find the post HERE

This little garden scene from Digi Stamp Boutique is just so cute. You can find the post HERE

Adorable image from Di's Digi Downloads, and I love the vibrant colours and layout. You can find the post HERE

I like the peacefulness and delicate feel this card has. You can find the post HERE

Well, I have to say it was hard to chose my faves but this little lot just about sums it up for me in 2012! Thank you so much for all your kind comments and friendship, not to mention your wonderful blogs, without which crafting wouldn't be half as much fun! Have a wonderful New Year's Eve and I would just like to wish you all a very Happy New Year for 2013!

Quick and Simple Christmas Cards

Hi peeps! I hope you all had a lovely Christmas... for me the day just flew by! I was busy preparing Christmas dinner in the morning, but I spent the evening in my new fleece pyjamas in front of the TV... the Royal family Christmas was a hoot! Oh and Santa was very good to me... I only got one crafty present but it was a good one... a set of 24 Letraset Tria markers! I love them already!

There's been slim pickings where my cards are concerned lately, I only did a handful of Christmas cards... but I have started early for 2013 and have done some simple cards using my rather neglected Penny Black stamps...

I'm really liking the uncluttered approach at the moment, less is definately more! I just love colouring and so these quick cards are a joy to do! Pity I didn't get my act together before Christmas! I may be back with more before New Year! Watch this space! Thanks for visiting! xx

Christmas Bling

Well not long now folks! I got my turkey yesterday... not that I'll be eating any of it, I'm veggie! But I won't afflict my MDF (that's what my dad calls my veggie alternatives to meat) on everyone... so turkey it is ;)

It's all about Christmas at Di's Digi Designs Challenge this fortnight... how easy is that?! Why not join us with a Christmas creation, you could win a fab prize from our sponsor Ribbon Carousel. Pop by the challenge blog to see details and be inspired by my DT buddies!

For my card I've used this cute digi stamp from Di's Digi Downloads called To Both Of You, coloured with Promarkers. The papers are Dovecraft, Fancy Christmas.

This may be my last post before Christmas, so I'd just like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2013! Thanks for all you support and comments this year! I hope Santa will be good to you all ;) xx

Christmas is coming! Bah Humbug...

Yep, not long now folks! But do you know I just don't feel at all christmassy this year... 2012 hasn't been the greatest of years for me so I'll be happy to see the back of it to be honest. And I won't be spending Christmas with my family this year, so I'm just not in a very festive mood :( Hence my lack of Christmas projects on my blog... but here's a little card anyway...
I'm not all bah humbug though... here's a picture of my front room, complete with Christmas tree and crib (and can you spot the Roses chocolates... none left now and it's not even Christmas yet)! The picture was taken before the cat started to eat the (artificial) tree...
Well hope you all have a lovely weekend... and are feeling the Christmas spirit more than me!

Another Notebook

Hello... are you all organised for Christmas then? I really need to get my act together... something I say every year! I looked back on the last few blog posts I've done, and there's not a single Christmas card amongst them. Bad me!
So, not to break recent tradition, I have another non-Christmas themed creation for you today, and it's another notebook! It's my mam's Birthday today... so I've made this for her... handy for doing the shopping list ;) It's not a card, I just thought I try something a little different for me, hope you like it!

Take care, especially if you have snow where you live!

A Little Notebook for Little Miss Muffet

Hello!

I've been asked to Guest Design for Little Miss Muffet Challenges this fortnight... yeah!

They have a fab new challenge, Tags & Gifts... I've made a little notebook... first time I've done one of these and I have to say I LOVED making this! The super cute winged horse digi stamp is called Nightwind, and was kindly supplied by Little Miss Muffet Stamps. Nightwind is part of the Hills of Mooradale collection. I added a few handdrawn extras (rainbow, sun and cloud). I might just keep this little notebook as a gift to myself... I'm partial to flying horses, well any horses really! Why not join us this fortnight, you could win 2 fab digi stamps of your choice!

Black & White Plus One & Some News

Good morning!

There's a fab new challenge over at Cupcake Craft Challenge today, chosen by our lovely Cupcake mummy Faye... Black & White Plus One (other colour).

I've gone for blue as my plus one, and have used this gorgeous floral digi stamp from DigiStamp Boutique. Again I've kept this card very simple, no fussy embellishments, just clean lines and a few gems for the flower centres. Interested? Well just pop over to the Cupcake blog to check out the other lovely creations my DT buddies have made, and also to see the details of the prizes on offer from our two fabulous sponsors, Pink Gem Designs and Crafts U Love!

Right, now for my news... well as you know I just love colouring with my Promarkers and Flexmarkers, and so you can imagine how thrilled I was to be asked to join the Design Team at Passion For Promarkers Challenge! So look out for me... I'll be starting with the challenge on Tuesday 4th December!

Give Thanks

Flippin' heck... I can't believe Christmas is only a month away... I am very unprepared as usual! It looks like I'll be sending bought cards out this year, I always say I'm going to start Christmas card making early and I never do!

Well, you can't have too many thank you cards, so this fortnight at Di's Digi Designs Challenge we'd like you to 'GIVE THANKS'. So for my card I used this super cute mushroom fairy digi from Di's Digi Downloads, don't you just love her little friend?! You can find lots of other cute digis like this one at Di's online store HERE. We're sponsored by the fabulous Crafty Sentiments this fortnight, who have an online store filled with cuteness! Pop across to Di's Digi Designs Challenge blog to find more details and also take a peek of all the lovely creations my DT buddies have made!

Bureaucratic Monkey Business!

Hello!

Ok, so I haven't had the best of days but do you ever feel like you're getting nowhere fast? I get this feeling quite a lot living in France... I love France, but one thing I dislike about France is the obsession with paperwork over here! There's an article in The Telegraph about 'becoming french' and I quote;

"...French officialdom's obsession with paperwork. This is one of the the most important things I’ve learned in the past six years of French rural bliss. There’s always someone demanding to see your birth certificate, wedding certificate or civil contract, driving licence or a piece of paper called an RIB that gives your bank details. Your utility bills and rates demands need to be kept for five years. Hold on to every scrap of paper you get from your builder or a tradesman. File everything — and you’ll be invincible."

This is so true, and I've had my fair share of this, but it gets a little tiring after a while. Why make something easy when you can make it difficult? Oh well, c'est la vie...

Right, rant over... here's a little cheeky monkey card I thought I'd share with you. It's very CAS, which is a style I've become quite fond of lately. I'd like to enter the challenge at Digi Stamp Boutique, with my Marco the monkey card (Marco can be purchased from Digi Stamp Boutique).  I've coloured with Promarkers. The rest was handdrawn by moi! Bonne Soirée Mes Amis!

Say Cheese!

Good afternoon peeps!

How's the weekend going? Wet and miserable here... I will get cosy in my craftroom later, before I watch a bit of Sunday night TV!

Urm right, I just thought I'd share this card with you... I really love this image of Maurice from Pollycraft, such a fun character! Unfortunately my photographic skills in this picture are less than acceptable, I don't know what happened with the colours?! He looks rather ill, does Maurice! A bit jaundiced perhaps!? Enjoy your evening xx

Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star...

Good evening peeps!

I just wanted to pop this little card on my blog, it's for a friend who has recently become a daddy! I have to say I had a bit of  a nightmare with this card... I did my usual doodling around the egde and it just didn't look right hence the lilac border! It looks ok, but I won't make a habit of this ;)

The image is from Pollycraft, so cute! I've coloured with Promarkers, of course! I'm entering my card for the Passion for Promarkers Challenge - Moon & Stars.

Right off to see how my bread is cooking... in the bread machine that is... you can smell freshly baked bread around the house! xx

A Nice Cup Of Tea!

Ok, so I might not be the world's best nurse (although I'm pleased to report that my patient is feeling a bit better despite my efforts), but I can make a decent cup of tea. I have to confess though that I wasn't a huge fan of tea until I came to live in France... then the Brit in me kicked in!

My (french) friend visited me this week with her little girl. We were chatting (in french) and looking through some old photos and I came across one of me in my school uniform. I explained that in the UK kids wear uniforms to school (unlike in France). My friend's little girl looked puzzled, so I asked what was wrong... she said "Were you English when you were little?"... too cute!

Ok, we have a new challenge this fortnight at Di's Digi Designs Challenge blog, FALL COLOURS, so any autumnal colours will do just fine! I've created my card using this really cute teddy digi stamp from Di's Digi Downloads called Tea Cup Teddy, isn't she gorgeous? I've kept my card fairly simple. I wanted to keep a lot of the kraft card visible and the card to be unclutterd, the image is so cute I didn't want to distract from it.

We are lucky to have a generous sponsor this fortnight which is Sweet Stamps. Please drop by the challenge blog to find out more details about the challenge, our sponsor and to see the lovely creations the Design Team have made! Oh and thanks so much for your visit here today! xx

A nurse I am not...

Coucou! How are you all today? Hope you had a nice evening last night for Nov 5th, whether you went out to see a firework display, or just stayed in all cosy like me!

Well today I am playing nurse to a very sad looking hubby, he put his back out at work yesterday and is not a happy bunny! He was in rather a bad mood last night {you know when you get the impression that EVERYTHING is your fault... us girls would never be like that ahem}, I was pleased when he got some pills from the doc... in no time he was out like a light! So now he's off sick for a few days and isn't best pleased about it! Maybe I'll get the Dyson out later, when I think he's slept enough ;)

Anyhow, here's a little card I made after being inspired by the challenge over at Little Miss Muffet Challenge, the theme is Fireworks. I've used this super cute stamp called Clover Dancing with Dragonflies, you can find it HERE over at Little Miss Muffet Stamps. I'd also like to enter my card into the challenge at Cute Card Thursday - Fairies & Angels, and Passion For Promarkers - In the Garden.

Right, better go and check on the patient!

Remember, Remember...

Good evening peeps! Remember, remember the 5th of Nov... yep it's almost Guy Fawkes in the UK... or Bonfire Night as I called it! What I remember about Nov 5th is freezing my bits off waiting for my tatty to cook on the bonfire we had on the local playing field, and the catherine wheel that never spun properly when it was pinned to the garden fence! Obviously, Guy Fawkes isn't celebrated in France, so just a normal day here!

Anyway, just wanted to pop by to share a little card I made for a friend, I've used an explosion of colours {hehe}... it's fairly CAS but I like it. And the little cat says... "Don't forget to keep all pets indoors this Bonfire Night!" Have a good but safe night!

Happy Halloween!

I've had this halloween image for a very long time and have never coloured it... so I thought it was about time! It's an image from Pollycraft (which sadly no longer exsists), one of the Luna Bitterfrost series. I just had the urge to colour those pumpkins! And then I just had to make a card! Hope you likey ;)

I loved Halloween when I was little, my dad would help me to hollow out a turnip to make a lantern (did you know that originally turnips were used to celebrate Halloween, pumpkins appeared when the pagan festival was introduced to North America by the Irish and Scottish immigrants). I remember it always being windy and my lantern would blow out all the time (yep we used candles in those days, not torches)! Here in France Halloween isn't celebrated much, shame as I really looked forward to it as a kid! So for those celebrating Halloween, have fun!

Witches & Pumpkins

Good morning! Isn't it chilly now, I love central heating (when it's working... mine's on the blink, typical)!

Well, if you need warming up, grab yourself a cuppa, and snuggle up with your craft stash to make something for the new challenge over at Cupcake Craft Challenge, our lovely Delphine has chosen Witches & Pumpkins as this week's theme. All you have to do is include a witch, pumpkin or both on your project!

We're sponsored by Prairie Fairy, who kindly supplied the cute little witch image called Brewin Spells you see on my card! They're offering the winner a $10 Gift Certificate to spend in their store! Hope you can pop by the Cupcake blog to check out all the details, and also see all the spell binding (lol) creations from the Cupcake DT girls!

Haunted House for Di's Digi Designs Challenge

Well it's a bright but chilly morning here... the kind of weather I love in autumn (not grey and damp as it's been for the last fortnight). My mojo is still inexistant, and on top of that I spent the day in bed yesterday with a sickness bug and migraine. I'm feeling a lot better today, the migraine has gone but I won't stay too long on the pc just in case ;)

Today we have a new challenge at Di's Digi Designs Challenge, which is easy peasy... ANYTHING HALLOWEEN!! I'm saying it's easy, but I REALLY struggled with my card, I didn't feel inspired and hence I'm not happy with my creation. I totally love the image called Background Haunted House from Di's Digi Downloads, but could I heck do it justice! So my creation is rather CAS, not what I wanted to create at all. If you pop by the challenge blog, you'll see that the other DT girls have made fabulous Halloween creations! We are sponsored by My Craft Spot, and also Di will be offering up some of her fabulous Digi Stamps, so why not join us?

Have a lovely weekend,
Shelly x

Feeling Blue...

Hello peeps!

I've been fairly absent in Blogland recently... I just can't seem to get the old mojo back! Maybe it's something to do with the weather... when I got up this morning it was so dark... remember to put your clocks BACK an hour this weekend! Another reason my mojo has gone is because I lost a friend a few weeks ago to cancer...

Anyway, as I haven't posted many cards lately (mainly because I haven't made many) I thought I'd share the sympathy card I made for my friend's family, I never know what to make when it comes to sympathy cards so I kept this one very simple...

Take care, thank you for visiting me today,

Two's Company

Hello! Hope you all had a lovely weekend... the rain never stopped here, it was wet and miserable! The only good thing about miserable weather is that it's the ideal excuse to stay indoors and craft!

Well it's Cupcake Craft Challenge time, and this week it's my turn to pick our theme... I've chosen TWO'S COMPANY... basically I'd like to see two characters on your creations (this can be two people, two animals etc but it must be a character or person, not just a butterfly or bug etc as one of the characters).

Our first sponsor this week is Stamp Fairy, who very kindly supplied this cute image which is called Barry In Love... you can find it along with lots of other cute digi stamps HERE. Were also very lucky to be sponsored by My Mum's Craft Shop, who have some scrumptious crafty goodies in their online store, and have VERY reasonable postage rates! Pop by the Cupcake blog to see all the gorgeous creations my wonderful DT buddies have come up with (thanks girls for all your hard work for my challenge), and you'll also find all the details of the challenge, prizes etc!

Too Cute to Spook

Hello folks! It's done nothing but rain all week and I'm sick of it!

On a positive note though, it's perfect weather for crafting. So if you fancy a challenge, we have the theme TOO CUTE TO SPOOK over at Di's Digi Designs Challenge this fortnight. That means anything Halloween related, but it must be cute and NOT scary! Pop over to see all the cute creations from my DT buddies! For my card I've used this super cute witch from Di's Digi Downloads called 'Come fly with me'... Di has lots of cute digi images, and not only for Halloween. My little witch is coloured with Promarkers & Flexmarkers.

We are sponsored by Sweet Stamps who are generously offering $10 voucher to spend in their online store! And don't forget, if you use an image from Di's Digi Downloads, you could be in with a chance of winning some cute digi's from Di's store!

Have a fab weekend, despite the weather! Thanks for your visit!

Contented Cat

Good morning! It's decidedly autumnal weather here today... and the dark nights are definately closing in! Brrr!

I just thought I'd share a quick, simple card I made recently, I like having one or two of these sort of cards ready if I need one in a hurry. The image is from Digi Stamp Boutique, I just love the contented look on the cat's face... in fact my cat who is curled up on a chair next to me has the very same look!

To be honest I have been struggling a little with my crafting lately, my motivation (not only for crafting) has started playing hide & seek! I'd better find it soon... maybe I should buy some new stash? Hmmm...

Did you see the sequins & sparkles on Strictly last night? I was never really a big Westlife fan and didn't even know who Nicky Byrne was (bad I know), but I did sit up and take notice last night, that bum in those trousers...

Well, I have a PILE of housework to do {yawn} so I'd better give myself a kick up the behind! Enjoy the weekend and thanks for visiting today!

Think Pink in October

This week at Cupcake Craft Challenge, my lovely DT buddy Sari has chosen the theme THINK PINK, as October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

We are sponsored this week by Heather Ellis, who kindly supplied this gorgeous snowman image for me to work with... he's just sooooooooo cute! I love Heather Ellis's images, they are so easy to colour and look fabulous. You can find more over at her online store HERE. Heather is kindly offering our random winner 3 images of their choice from her store!

We are very lucky to have a second sponsor for this week, Simon Says Stamp, who are generously giving away a $20 gift certificate to our lucky winner!

So lets see plenty of pink this month girls! Pop over to the Cupcake blog to check out all the pretty pink creations my DT buddies have made! And if you have a minute leave a little comment of appreciation, we always love to read you comments!

Vintage at Sweet Stampin'

This is my second post for today, please scroll down to see my Bearicelli card for Di's Digi Designs Challenge.

Today is my last week as Guest Designer for Sweet Stampin' Challenge, and I have to say it's been lovely to be part of the team. Thank you for having me!

This week our theme is VINTAGE. Now, this is something I don't do very often, I don't know why because everytime I make a vintage style creation I end up really liking it. I love the eclectic mix of embellishments, I always find something in my stash that will fit the bill (well most times unless I'm in a strop, then nothing fits). So for my card I remembered I had some papers from a Norwegian company called 3ndy Papier, which included this adorable little lady, so the card started from there...

I don't have fancy shaped cards, so in case you're wondering, I used a template I found on the Lili of the Valley website HERE. I just drew around it onto my card then carefully (it's a bit fiddly) cut it out. Not bad when you don't have dies to cut the shapes. The tickets were freebies I found a long time ago on the internet... if anyone knows the source please share as I can't for the life of me find the details (I like giving credit to the person who's gone to the trouble of creating then sharing for free).

Pop over to the Sweet Stampin' Challenge blog to check out the rest of the fab vintage DT creations, and to see what lovely goodies are on offer from our kind sponsor!

Enjoy the weekend!
Shelly x

Bearicelli

Good morning! Welcome to the weekend!

Our theme at Di's Digi Designs Challenge this fortnight is ANIMALS ACTING LIKE HUMANS!
This cute little fella is called Bearicelli and you can find him HERE at Di's Digi Downloads! I just love this little digi stamp, probably one of my favourite images from Di!

I've teamed him up with this wacky paper from Basic Grey (an old pack which is sadly almost extinct in my house). Finshed with a cute charm on baker's twine and my favourite doodling... voila... my little masterpiece (ahem that's meant as an arty joke).

Have a look at the other super creations made by the rest of the DT, and for all the details of the yummy prize which is supplied by Ribbon Carousel, go to Di's Digi Designs Challenge!

Thanks for your visit!

Sweet Stampin' - How Charming

Good morning! It's sunny here today, if a little chilly! Well that's it, summer is officially over as today is the first day of autumn! So in honour of autumn, I've gone with a leaf theme and golden colours for today's card which is my GDT creation for Sweet Stampin' Challenge. Our theme this week is HOW CHARMING... we'd like to see charms!!!

I just love this cute digi stamp, I snapped it up at Pollycraft before Paula closed her store! The image was so nice to colour, I think I might be using this one a few times! As usual I've added my signature doodling on the card! The flowers wer cut out of the papers I used, not something I usually do but in this case I thought they were perfect.

Pop over to the Sweet Stampin' Challenge blog to see some more charming creations, and to check out the prize from our sponsors Emerald Faeries and Joanna Sheen! Have a lovely autumn weekend!

Script & Gold

This is gold, right? Not orange, gold... like the jersey in the Tour of Britain cycle race!!!

Ok, now that's cleared up... the lovely Keeley has chosen our theme today at Cupcake Craft Challenge, and she'd like us to create something using SCRIPT & GOLD... yes GOLD (not orange... well I suppose my card is kinda orangey)! My cute image is 'School Pinkette Chloe' and has been kindly supplied by Tickled Pink Stamps, one of our fab sponsors this week! Sadly, Tickled Pink Stamps will be closing down, so get across and grab some stamps while you can! Our other sponsor this week is Crafts U Love, who are offering a £15 gift voucher for the winner. Yipee! Pop over to the Cupcake blog to see all the other DT creations, gorgeous as always girls!

Hope you can join us, thanks for popping by today!

Candy Time at Cupcake!

Over at Cupcake Craft Challenge we have Candy, generously provided by Marianne Design. But why? Good question!

By popular demand, it's finally here: the Marianne Design catalog. The complete overview of all Creatables and Craftables, and overviews of the stamps and other products. Marianne Design has put everything together in themes, and of course it's filled with beautiful examples and inspiration. And to help you to keep track of your dies, they've added check boxes as well, easy right?

If you want to know more about Marianne Design products and sales addresses, click on the catalogue in my sidebar.

So, the candy? Here it is:

Wanna chance to get your mitts on it? It's as easy as one, two, erm, that's it! Here's what you need to do:
  • Add the picture below to your sidebar and link it back the post at Cupcake Craft Challenge HERE (we'll be checking!)
  • Add your name to the Linky Thingy at Cupcake
Job done!

We'll be closing this candy at 8pm GMT on Sunday 23 September 2012, so be quick.

Sunny September Day

Hello again! This is my second post for today, my Guest Design Team card for Sweet Stampin' Challenge can be found below ;)

Well I have to tell you, it's a lovely sunny September day here! It's starting to look like autumn as the leaves are already dropping, but the sun is still shining! Hooray!

We have a new challenge at Di's Digi Designs Challenge, and this fortnight we'd like to see you using multiple punches/die cuts! On my card above I have used two punches for the scallops & trellis detail. My gorgeous image is of course from Di's Digi Downloads, she's called DAISY and you can find her HERE!

We are sponsored by Crafty Sentiments Designs, who are kindly offering the lucky winner a voucher to spend in their store! Hope you can join us!

Simply Thank You

It's my 3rd week as Guest Designer at Sweet Stampin' Challenge and this week it's all about the words! We'd like to see you use a sentiment as the focal point of your creation... obviously I've gone with Thank You. I've teamed the sentiment up with some pretty floral papers and a cute gingham ribbon and there you have it! Quick and easy for those ever so useful 'Thank You' cards!

If you'd like more inspiration and full details of the prize from our sponsor this week, pop over to the Sweet Stampin' blog! Our fabulous sponsors are Stamp & Create and Joanna Sheen! Have a fabulous weekend! Thanks for popping by!

My 1st Christmas Card for 2012

Good morning to all my blogging friends!

Now, I thought rather than do my usual last minute dash to do Xmas cards, and then end up buying some, I'd start a little earlier this year! To be honest I just struggle to create festive cards when it's 30°c outside... sorry for all of the people in the UK who have already turned their heating on! I used to be one of you!

Anyway, as I am Guest Designer at Sweet Stampin' Challenge for the month of September, I was inspired to create my festive card by the theme this week which is WHITE ON WHITE. Isn't she just the cutest angel ever? I've kept it really simple, no papers, just a plain blank white card, with a few details added. I didn't add much as I wanted the image to be the focal point of the card. If you'd like to see more inspiration for the challenge, pop by the Sweet Stampin' blog where you'll find loads of fabulous creations, and details of the fabulous prize from our sponsors Letraset, Iva Nova Chest and Joanna Sheen!

Hasn't the Paralympic Games been fantastic, I can't believe it's almost over :( All the athletes have been such an inspiration, just goes to show that if you persevere and have courage, you can conquer anything!

I'd like to enter my card for the following challenges:

Crafty Catz - Christmas

Cheers!

Good morning! Hope you all had a lovely weekend... I spent mine with my nephew, we went mountain biking and quad biking... great fun but soooooooooooooo exhausting! Still, it was really nice to spend time together.

Today at Cupcake Craft Challenge Donna has chosen a gorgeous picture for our PHOTO INSPIRATION challenge, here's the piccy...
I've gone with the colours for my masculine birthday card (above). It's been a while since I've done a 'male' card, I really enjoyed it, but I struggled with the embellishments hence the "less is more" approach! I have to say, I do love this cheeky chappie 'Alf' from Digi Stamp Boutique... he's great for masculine cards and so easy to colour!

We have two fab sponsors... Mo's Digital Pencil are giving away 3 x $5 shop credits (so there'll be 3 lucky winners) and Simon Says Stamp are giving away a $20 Gift Certificate! But you've got to be in it to win it, so pop by the Cupcake blog to check out all the DTs creative craftiness, and then get creating!

I'd like to enter my card into the challenge at:
Digi Stamp Boutique - September Competition
ABC - W is for Wishes (Birthday)
By the Cute & Girly - Boys/Men

Cheers!

GDT at Sweet Stampin' Challenge Blog!

Hiya peeps! This is my second post for today (my post for Di's Digi Designs Challenge can be seen below). Why... well I've been kindly asked to be Guest Designer at Sweet Stampin' Challenge blog for the month of September... I'm thrilled! Anyway, this week the challenge is to CREATE SOMETHING THAT HAS BEEN INSPIRED BY A SONG/FILM. Straight away there was a song that flew into my head, in a manner of speaking, and that song is Birdhouse in your Soul! This song was a hit for They Might be Giants in the 90's... it definately gets into your head! You can find the song HERE on YouTube.

Hope you can join us this week at Sweet Stampin'! There's a prize from Papelitos Stamps and also Joanna Sheen up for grabs!

Back to School!

Uh oh... the weekend before going back to school... the holidays are finally over! The kids are probably moping around, whilst the parents are putting the flags out! Sound familiar? Mmm well I remember that I hated the "back to school" bit of the holidays, in fact I've got goose bumps just thinking about it! But sometimes it was nice, like when I was choosing my new coloured pencils etc... I've always loved colouring... except now it's with Promarkers!

So, BACK TO SCHOOL is the challenge this fortnight at Di's Digi Designs Challenge, so why not get out your colouring stuff, glue, scissors etc and come and join us? Take a look at the other DT creations, there are some great ideas to be had and there's a fab prize up for grabs from "SWEET STAMPS"! Oh and if you need an image just pop by Di's Digi Downloads, there's loads to choose from!

Hi peeps!

Just wanted to thank you all for the recent comments... I've been away from Blogland for a while (the recent posts were scheduled) but I'm back and I'll be visiting you all soon! In the meantime here's a quickie card I made a while ago... cute ;)
