Seeing Stars

Hi! We have a fab new challenge over at Little Miss Muffet Challenges today... We're SEEING STARS... yes that means we'd like to see stars on your projects!
I've used the super cute Swings n' Slides Bump rubber stamp from Pollycraft at Little Miss Muffet Stamps. The papers were a kind gift from my friend Lau, they're perfect for this challenge. I've used a Nellie Snellen die set for the stars, and added garden twine and a cute charm. Colouring is with Flex markers.
Why not join us and be in with a chance to win some digi stamps, check out the details and other DT cards over at the challenge blog. Hugs x

Drink Tea

Good morning peeps! Well I have to say that the flippin' weather has been pants all weekend! I spent half the weekend rushing outside to get my washing in off the line, usually 5 minutes after I'd put it out, and the other half putting it back out again! My garden looks like a mini Amazon jungle... only without the monkeys! It was just the kind of weather to sit indoors, drinking tea and eating biscuits! Which brings me to my DT card for Cupcake Craft Challenge today...
So this week our lovely Delphine has chosen NOT FOR FLOWERS... so we'd like to see CAS designs with NO flowers, either in the image or as embellishments. We're sponsored by Pink Gem Designs, who very kindly supplied this gorgeous Keep Calm and Drink Tea digi for me to use, isn't this fab! They will be giving away 3 images of the winner's choice! Now as you know, I'm a bit partial to the odd CAS card, so I loved making this card, and it was SO quickly made! No colouring for a start! Just a bit of ribbon added, a few gems and a cute heart button... voila! Want more inspiration... pop by the Cupcake blog as the girls have smashed the CAS theme!

Here Comes Summer

Hey all! Well it's officially summer, yesterday was the first day! Here the weather is weird, to say the least. A few days ago there were hail stones the size of golf balls only 10km from where we live causing major damage to property etc. We've also hade torrential rain. Summer... what Summer?

Anyway, today we're celebrating Summer at Di's Digi Designs Challenge with a SUMMER FUN theme. For my DT card I've used a cute digi from Di's Digi Stamps called Sunflower Daisy... ahh!! I love the sunflower's face! Again a CAS card... I like a little white showing! Well considering the weather outside... I'll have a lot of white showing (and not much tan unless it comes from a bottle)!

Our sponsor this fortnight is MY TIME MADE EASY who are giving a fab prize to one random winner! And if you use one of Di's images you could win two digi stamps from her store! Pop by the challenge blog to see all the sizzling summer creations my teammates have made! Thanks for popping by, enjoy your weekend xx

POLLYCRAFT CHALLENGE IS BACK!!!

Hi folks!
Remember Pollycraft? How could you forget! Good news is POLLYCRAFT IS BACK! Urm did I mention I'm one of the new Design Team members?! Oh yeah... and I just LOVE Paula's fab images! So if you want to get your hands on some then click on the picture link below and check out the new Pollycraft shop...
Now, for some more good news... wait for it...
POLLYCRAFT CHALLENGE IS ALSO BACK! You heard right... and our first fortnightly challenge starts today! Of course we thought it only fair to start with something nice and easy so the first challenge theme is... ANYTHING GOES! No excuse not to join in then, eh? Here's my DT card...
This is Rusty the Robot... isn't he just the sweetest robot?! I made this card for a friend who turned 50 recently... inside the caption reads "...just a little rusty round the edges" lol :) Now unfortunately I don't have any fancy cog dies so I had to print these off (found them somewhere on the net), cut them out then colour them. It turned out ok, I suppose. Rusty is coloured with Letraset Triamarkers.
Right, fancy joining in? You could win a £10 voucher to spend at Pollycraft, and there's some other incentives which are explained over on the challenge blog, along with the rules! Pop over and check them out, and take a peek at the fab DT projects!

Happy Families!

Hello! I've been chasing my tail since I got back... and my crafting/blogging time has severly suffered! It was lovely seeing my family, but hubby and cat really missed me (Hmmm I think it was more my cooking that was missed by hubby). While we're on the subject of family, there's a new challenge over at Little Miss Muffet Challenges today... HAPPY FAMILIES... here's my card...
I've kept things really simple again (I'm liking simple a LOT at the moment). Who needs complicated when you have these adorable characters? I've used two of the Jr Hatter digi stamps from Little Miss Muffet Stamps today, on the left we have Jr Hatter Michelle (kinda looks like me too) and on the right it's Jr Hatter Kathrina! I thought they could be sisters... for the purpose of the challenge lol! I merged them on the computer before printing and then I coloured them with Letraset markers. I wanted the picture to look like a snapshot... it kinda does?! The border was added with a Letraset fineliner then coloured in blue with a Flexmarker... simple really. No fancy dies or embellishments, I like that! And I like the blue/orange colour combo too :) Why not join in the challenge, you could win yourself some fab digi stamps from Little Miss Muffet Stamps! And pop by the challenge blog to see all the HAPPY FAMILY creations from the other Little Misses!
