Festive Friday

Well instead of Black Friday I've gone for a Festive Friday...Christmas shopping and a Christmas card for me today...

This lovely stamp is called Winter Pine Grove from DoveArt Designs, you can buy it at Little Miss Muffet Stamps. I love the calmness of this image, I teamed it up with a dark sky and a bit of sparkle for that magical, festive feel. Colouring is Promarkers, the snowflake die is Memory Box.

Christmas is Coming!

In just one month it will be Christmas Eve...are you ready?

Soooo another Christmas card from me today...for the new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers...CHRISTMAS IS COMING!

The beautiful robin image is a digital stamp from JustInkLined, you can find it HERE. Colouring is done with my Promarkers. I've used a Christmas tag for the sentiment...recycling lol! The white distressing is acrylic paint using a dry brush effect. The dies I used are from Die-Namics (numbers) and Britannia Dies (Ponsettia).

A week ago today the world witnessed the tragic events that unfolded in Paris over one terrible evening. All those lives and families destroyed, it's so sad. In the days after the attacks I watched the news, read the papers and felt a huge sense of sadness...

Winter is on it's way!

Hi folks!

Crickey the weather has taken a turn for the worse this week, last Sunday the sun was shining and it was 20°c...today it's been grey, drizzly and flippin' freezing {sigh}! So, today's card has a winter theme...if you can't beat it, embrace it lol!

The beautiful little winter bird image is Winter Chickadee by DoveArt Designs, available from Little Miss Muffet Stamps. If you're looking for a classic design for you cards, this will definately fit the bill. I coloured with Tria Markers, there's not a huge amount of colouring to do so it's great for quicker makes! I've added doodles, of course, and a lovely ponsettia to finish it off. Twine and pearls with a bit of glitter add a bit extra.

Hi friends! Oh I haven't done many Christmas cards this year...in fact this will be the second one I've done...BUT I got some lovely papers now so no excuse! Here's a little caroler...love her and her little dog...

You're so old it's scary!

You know the feeling when you want to forget how old you are on your birthday? Well if you don't...you're lucky! Anyway this week's challenge over at Passion for Promarkers is SPOOKY BIRTHDAY, here's my card (I went with the age thing I mentioned above lol)...

So this little stamp is from Penny Black...it's been a LONG time since I used a one of these! As there's no colouring involved on the image, I used Flexmarkers to make the spotted background and my Letraset fineliners for the doodling (0.1 and 0.7 sizes).
