Loving Someone is Like Hugging a Cat

Happy Valentine's Day!
Did you all have a lovely breakfast in bed served up by your other half? Nope, not for me either... but I am off to Paris today... no not the romantic surprise organised by a very attentive hubby, I decided that we NEEDED to go... well a girl has to shop :)

Well it's week two as Guest Designer at Little Miss Muffet Challenge, and today we have a New Release to share with you! For my card I've used the cute "Marjoram" digi stamp, I just love her little cat!
There are some fabulous new stamp designs in the New Release at Little Miss Muffet Stamps, and the Design Team girls have done a fab job with them! Pop over to the challenge blog and check them all out!

Hubby read the sentiment on my card... his response was "well if it doesn't scratch your face and hands to bits"... this is because despite the fact that our cat is very affectionate, he's a bit partial to having a swipe at my hubby with his very sharp claws!  Not sure why, he never scratches me!

Be Mine

Good evening! Phew I've spent the day painting the kitchen... I can't tell you how much I'm aching! What I wouldn't give for a soak in the bath... well I'll have to do with a shower cos we don't have a bath {weeps}!

I made this CAS card with my recent purchase from Pink Petticoat... I like how quickly these cards come together! Great for when you need a card in a hurry!

Right, I'm off for a nice "soak" in the shower :) Bye for now x

Tweet Valentine...

Good morning peeps!

Just a quick post today, I wanted to share this tweet little valentine card I made... I bought some downloads from Pink Petticoat in their sale recently, this was made with one of them! It's very CAS, but I like that... and the colouring was kept to a minimum... just a tad of colour and sparkle added to the birdies! Hope you likey?

Gotta scoot... I've got a mountain of housework to do, and I'm supposed to be washing down paintings cos next week we've got some decorating to do... oh flippin' heck... Laurel & Hardy springs to mind! Enjoy your weekend! Ta ta x

So for my card I've used a gorgeous digi stamp called Celeste Amberglow Owl Always Love You, she's from the Honeycloud Teens series from Little Miss Muffet Stamps. I'm not sure I've done her justice though, I'm not all that happy with my colour choice... not one I usually go for, I'm just not sure! Maybe it's the die cuts... Mmmm. Anyway, pop over to the Little Miss Muffet Challenge blog to see some fabulous creation from the other DT girls! If you join in this week you could win some yummy digital stamps from Little Miss Muffet Stamps too! Oh, and thanks for asking me to be part of your fabulous team girls! xx

Boys and Toys at Passion For Promarkers

I'm back again... today with my card for Passion For Promarkers!
Fancy making a male themed card? Well we have just the thing this week... BOYS & TOYS!!! You could interpret this as you wish, so instead of going for the little boy theme, I've opted for the big boy one! Anyone else have a hubby with LOADS of gadgets, tools etc for any eventuality but never actually uses them? Sound familiar? Oh yeah, and then he has the cheek to say I don't use all of my stamps... WHAT?! Anyway, I digress... pop by the Passion For Promarkers Challenge blog to see all the fabulous DT creations, and to check out the super prize from Letraset!

Yellow & Grey at Cupcake

Good morning to you all! Hope you all had a lovely weekend!
Today we have a colour challenge at Cupcake Craft Challenge, our lovely Cupcake mummy Faye has chosen YELLOW & GREY! Now it's not a colour combo I use much, in fact I think this is the first card I've done using this combo but I LOVED it!!! Thanks Faye for suggesting this! And instead of going for the CAS approach I've favoured recently, I've gone all out with the embellishments! This card is pretty busy for my standards. Another first for me is the image... yep first Saturated Canary card for me! I thought she'd be difficult to colour, but nope, totally loved colouring her! Here's a close up of the image...
Isn't she just a sweetie?! You can find her over at Saturated Canary, along with so many other beautiful images (this won't be my last SC card, is this the start of another addiction Mmm...). Back to Cupcake... our sponsor this week is Make It Crafty, so pop by the challenge blog to find out more details. Also the Cupcakes have created some really gorgeous crafty projects, don't miss taking a peek! Hugs x

Keep Love In Your Heart

Well that's January out the way, thank goodness! Not that I'm wishing my life away but once Christmas and New Year are over, I just jump straight ahead to Spring! Well, except of course there's Valentine's Day... to be honest I'm not really one to celebrate it much. I give hubby a card (which I have made this year), and that's about it...

So for the new fortnightly challenge at Di's Digi Designs Challenge we have a Valentine's Day/Love theme for you! Me being me, instead of a traditional Valentine's Day card I've decided to go down the Love route. Soft, sweet and sentimental... that's me lol ;) As a cat lover and also because I've just read "A Street Cat Named Bob", I decided to go with this cute cat digi stamp from Di's Digi Stamps. Hope you like it! Check out the challenge blog to see all the other fabby DT cards, and also to see details of the lovely prizes on offer from Marker Pop and Di's Digi Stamps!

If you like cats and haven't read "A Street Cat Named Bob" by James Bowen, then you should! Here's a video from You Tube about Bob and James...
