All Washed Out

Hi folks... that's how I'm feeling at the moment, a little washed out! Not sure why, just got a bit of the blues. I made a card but the old mojo is off wandering again, so it just didn't come out the way I'd planned it...

Did you know there are less than 90 days til Christmas?
Hmmm... I'm not sure that's a good thing or a bad thing to know, put it this way I can feel another mad rush coming on in a few months time! Birthday Girls!

One for the Boys!

Good morning peeps! Wow the weather has gone back to being sunny and warm here... crazy stuff!

Anyway, there's a new Passion for Promarkers Challenge today and we want to see ONE FOR THE BOYS... simple! Boy themed cards and projects only... don't forget you must use your Letraset markers (Promarkers, Flexmarkers, Triamarkers, Aquamarkers etc). Here's my DT card...

I dug out one of my Lili of the Valley stamps... yep I used rubber again! He really is a cutie! I coloured him with my Promarkers and teamed him up with scraps from a Basic Grey paper pad, added stars and buttons et voila! The sentiment is hand written. Another CAS card... I wish I was more CAS in real life 'cos I've got a mountain of clutter to sort out, it's not funny anymore!

GRAFFITI PARTY RELEASE

Good morning... something a little different from me today...

Little Miss Muffet Stamps have teamed up with Make it Crafty this week to show off a fab new GRAFFITI PARTY release... you can find out more over at the GRAFFITI PARTY BLOG... there's freebies, discounts, challenges, inspiration and some fab prizes to be had!
In the release you'll find all the elements I've used in my card... all digital (in JPEG and PNG format) so you can mess around with them on your computer to come up with loads of different scenes. There's a whole load of digistamps in the release, LOTS of GRAFFITI and an URBAN GANG. Autumn or Fall?

To me it's Autumn... but It's Fall over at Di's Digi Designs Challenge... Fabulous Fall Colours to be exact! Here's my DT card...

However, I took the picture late last night in artificial light so it's not the best representation of the colours... in real life the bear does not look like he's been tango-ed! Well that's it... another year (and one day) older! I don't know where the time goes, this year has just flown by. So, my Birthday meal... firstly hubby didn't cook... which I was disappointed at, but he did take me out for lunch, which was lovely, and he bought me some great presents... nothing crafty but instead some things to fuel my new passion - cycling. I got a bike for my Birthday last year, but only recently started using it, so in the last 6 weeks I've started 'proper' road cycling. I'm on a mission to get fitter and lose weight... well that was the plan but my body has other plans! Losing weight I am NOT! Why?!!! Everyone just says "muscle weighs heavier than fat blah blah"... well in that case I must look like a female version of Arnold Schwarzenegger in Terminator! That's all I'm saying... I'll be back!

Ok, so I'll say this quietly... today is my Birthday... shhhhhhhhhhhhhh I'm trying to keep it quiet hee hee! Well, lets just say I'm 21 and a bit (yeah a big bit)! Hubby is supposed to be cooking me a meal tonight (well actually I TOLD him he was)... that'll take him some effort, he's not exactly Masterchef material. Bless... I won't complain, he does try. Lucky I'm on a diet then eh?

Perfect Pets

Hello blogging friends! Today at Passion for Promarkers it's my turn to chose our theme... and being an animal lover I've chosen PERFECT PETS, so let us see your cats, dogs, horses, mice, hamsters, fish etc on your creations. Here's my DT card...

Hubby nearly keeled over when I dug out this stamp from Lili of the Valley (he bought it for me ages ago)... he even asked if my ink had dried up as I've done so many digis lately! But no, I still have my Memento and trusty rubber stamps... they just don't get used so much these days. And I LOVE this cute stamp called Me & My Pony, it's one of my favourite LOTV stamps (I drew the brick wall though as it's not part of the stamp). I teamed it up with these gorgeous papers from my pal Faye... thank you so much, they're really special, button twine and ribbon and a few pearls. I coloured with my Letraset Promarkers and Flexmarkers.

Golden Wedding

Hiya folks!

Just thought I'd pop by to share the Golden Wedding Anniversary card I made for my MIL & FIL recently, it's very different for me but my MIL loves vintage so she was really pleased with it. I also added several pages of verse inside (but no piccies of that). Here's the card...

I don't often make complex cards as I always struggle to know what to add and where... but I think this one turned out ok. The fab image was sourced from The Graphics Fairy, what a great site!
