Rose Garden

Hello again peeps! Hope you're all having a lovely weekend! This is my second post for the day! I don't have a card to share with you in this post, my DT card for Di's Digi Designs Challenge is below, but I do have something pretty on the eye.

I was walking in my garden this afternoon and thought how beautiful my roses are this year! Usually they get eaten by greenfly and the likes, but this year we don't seem to be as infested with the little pests, maybe due to all the cute ladybirds we have?!

Anyway, I took some photos of a few of the roses for you to see, hope you like them! The one on the left is one that was in the garden before we arrived... it reminds me of rasberry ripple ice cream ;)
It's been a while since I took some proper photos, it's usually just cards I photograph these days! Shame really, as I used to take pictures everyday. I love photography, but seem to have lost the keeness I used to have. Note to self: must make friends with my camera again!

This yellow rose is a true english rose... and it smells delicious! Wish you had smellivision ;) It's really tall, and is covered in roses at the moment... there's so many the stems are bowing under the weight of the blooms!
Peek-a-boo! Finally I've chosen to share this beauty... she's just hiding under a little leaf... but with a bold colour like that she'll not be able to hide for much longer!

I just loved the way the bud was just opening out... really pretty and scented too!

Well, that's it from me... hope you enjoyed your virtual tour of my rose garden!

Have a great Jubilee Bank Holiday! Shelly x
