Red & Yellow & A Bit Blue

Hello hello! Well I have to admit I have been quiet on the blogging and crafting front recently, I've had a lot going on and just haven't had the energy or desire to make anything. I want to create something but then when I get into my craftroom I just sit at my desk and stare into space. So, I decided to tidy out my craftroom and get rid of lots of stuff that was cluttering the place up. It's amazing what I hoard! I've also just been on the net and ordered myself a few new crafty things, hopefully to cheer me up and kick start my creative energy - I am severly lacking in energy of any kind at the moment.

Anyway, I have made my DT card for the Cupcake Craft Challenge this week, which I am not really happy with. It's not the challenge I have a problem with, which is fabulous... Donna has chosen RED & YELLOW this week... it's just I struggled to find any papers etc I like. I just wasn't inspired by my stash, even though I have hoards of stuff. I think it's high time I saw a bit of Spring sunshine... or someone just whack me over the head?!

The prize at Cupcake this week is a $20 Gift Certificate from Simon Says Stamp, who have some of the most scrumptious crafty products in their online store. Now if you'd like some ideas pop by and check out what the  other Cupcakes have made, they have made some fabulous creations!

Hello Shelly. I think you are right that we all need some sunshine, it seems to have been dull for a very long time.
Your card is gorgeous sweetie. Love the colour combination, great image and I love the textured mesh across the centre, just fabulous.
Take care and have a wonderful day.
Love Sandra xxx

Coucou Shelly !
