Another Christmas card...only 50 to go lol!

Hi friends! Oh I haven't done many Christmas cards this year...in fact this will be the second one I've done...BUT I got some lovely papers now so no excuse! Here's a little caroler...love her and her little dog...

You're so old it's scary!

You know the feeling when you want to forget how old you are on your birthday? Well if you don't...you're lucky! Anyway this week's challenge over at Passion for Promarkers is SPOOKY BIRTHDAY, here's my card (I went with the age thing I mentioned above lol)...

So this little stamp is from Penny Black...it's been a LONG time since I used a one of these! As there's no colouring involved on the image, I used Flexmarkers to make the spotted background and my Letraset fineliners for the doodling (0.1 and 0.7 sizes). Pretty Papers...

Hello peeps!

Remember I was telling you in my last post all about a new craft shop that had opened near me...well I went back yesterday and bought lots of new, pretty papers! You know it's so long since I treated myself to some new papers, I got quite excited looking through my new paper pads! I bought 5!!! And some of them have glitter on them ooooohhhhhh! So, today's card, for Little Miss Muffet Facebook Group, features two of my pretty papers...

The bottom paper has sparkles but it's not easy to see on the photograph. I LOVE the leaves though! The digital stamp is Polka Dot Pals Olive...LOVE HER...and the sentiment is from the Under The Weather Chester rubber set.

I coloured her with my limited number of Copics, so her hair is a little wild...also I struggled a bit with her hair...need to brush up on my colouring! I added some doodling, including the underline and exclamation mark on the sentiment, and a few navy blue pearls! Simple as that! 

All The Trimmings!

OMG do you know there are only 69 days to Christmas?! Well, I am not good at doing things in advance, I always have the best intentions, but usually they never work out and it's a last minute MAD dash before they close the shops on Xmas Eve! Trouble is I NEVER know what to buy folks! So, for my cards (last year I sent bought ones shock horror), I have made my very first Xmas card of the year...and I loved it!

Yesterday I went to a new shop that's just opened not too far from me, it's called ACTION. Anyway...WOW is all I can say, they had some fab crafty stuff including these gorgeous papers I bought! So that inspired me to do a Christmas card for today's inspiration post on Little Miss Muffet Stamps Facebook Group. This is Swings 'n Slides All the Trimmings (LOVE HER) by Pollycraft, you can buy her in the Little Miss Muffet Stamps Store!

I coloured her with Copics (note to self...or hubby...ask Santa for more Copics), papers are from 6x6 Xmas Pad from Action, Twine is from The Ribbon Girl...finished with pearls and doodles and that's it...all the trimmings!

Feeling a bit "pensive"...

I've not been feeling well over the last week...so my crafting has taken a back seat. Also, little Darcie hasn't been too grand either, so the worry of that has taken it's toll on my creative abilities too. I am behind with my DT duties, so this card is a double whammy...inspiration for the Little Miss Muffet Stamps Facebook Group and also for this week's Passion for Promarkers Challenge...DOODLE.

This is Celeste Amberglow Waiting...she's just like how I feel at the moment, "pensive".  Lots to think about I suppose. I'm a worrier so I do a lot of thinking! She's available as a digital stamp at Little Miss Muffet Stamps...how can you resist?!

Autumn Apples
