Hello Spring!

Good morning peeps!

Our challenge over at Di's Digi Designs Challenge is HELLO SPRING... so we want to see your Spring inspired creations this fortnight! Please remember to follow our theme if you'd like to join and and be eligible to win a prize, some people have been entering just anything (i.e. not following the theme, which is a bit annoying. Oh, and don't forget to link back to the challenge blog too! 

I've used a gorgeous digi stamp from Di's Digi Stamps called Izzy's Chickadee... totally cute! I coloured her using Promarkers and Trias from Letraset. I've gone to town with embellishments (for me anyhow)... hope you like it :) Have a fab weekend!

Bay... Little Miss Muffet Stamps

There's a new challenge today at Little Miss Muffet Challenges... ANYTHING GOES! So that's easy then, isn't it?! Here's my DT card using Bay, one of the Sugar 'n Spice dolls from Little Miss Muffet Stamps...

Isn't she just the sweetest? And her little dolly too... cute! She really was a darling to colour, not too fiddly just how I like my images! I used my Promarkers and Trias to colour her. Fairly simple card, but I like it :)

One Eyed Smiley Monster!

Hello peeps!

I'm here with a card for the challenge at Passion For Promarkers today... EMBOSSING (DRY OR HEAT)... here's my cute, smiley Cyclops monster card...

I've used this adorable monster from Pollycraft, I've had him for a while now but he's still one I turn to from time to time. Of course he's coloured with my Promarkers (you must use your Letraset markers if you join in the challenge). Finally I added embossed dry words from a Cuttlebug embossing folder, ribbon and pearls. I've used one of the new Polka Dot Pal girls, Amy, she's available in digi format over at the Little Miss Muffet Stamps Store. She doesn't have facial features, so I've added some of my own. Do you think she's a little solemn? Me thinks she's gone over her credit card limit! I've doodled the shopping bags as I had nothing in the way of embellishments to go with my sentiment! Doilies & Lace

Hello peeps! 

There's a new challenge over at Little Miss Muffet Challenges today... DOILIES & LACE! The perfect theme to do a lovely, girly card! I've chosen one of the cute Polka Dot Pals - Daisy, she's available in rubber from Little Miss Muffet Stamps. 

I've gone with my favourite colours, green and blue, I love these colours together. Daisy is coloured with Tria and Flex Markers from Letraset... I have only a few Copics and unfortunately my budget won't stretch to more at the moment :( so I'm using my trusty Letraset pens! The little branch detail is made from wood, I bought it at a local craft fair and coloured it with my markers. I'm starting to feel a little more comfortable colouring pleats and folds in clothing, although I think there's still room for improvement. What's your bugbare when colouring?

Good morning peeps! Sorry I've been a bit AWOL lately, there is a good reason which I will share with you soon. Thank you for all your lovely comments lately, I will get round to visiting you all this week, promise! In the meantime here's something you might be interested in...

Make it Green

Yey it's March... Spring shouldn't be far away now, surely! I do have a few daffs out in my garden, I just love Spring flowers! 

Right, onto my card today. We have a fab new challenge at Di's Digi Designs Challenge and this fortnight we want you to MAKE IT GREEN... here's my DT card...

Hmmm, lots of zingy colours, perfect for Spring! I was a little inspired by my lovely daffodils for this card :) I've used the gorgeous Izzy's Birdcage digi stamp from Di's Digi Stamps, coloured with my Flexmarkers (and a few Copics). Obviously I've gone with the green colour theme, but I've also used old stash (flowers, doily, buttons and papers) which have been hanging around forever, so I like to think I've done a bit of recycling too.
