Sketch Challenge at Little Miss Muffet

Normally I follow sketches religiously, but this time I thought I'd go a little more freestyle, if you know what I mean. Here's my DT card, see what I mean...

Anyway, I kinda like it... the image is so sweet. I love her little pet! She's called Alvina and can be found at Little Miss Muffet Stamps. He little friend reminds me of a Pokemon :)

Boys Boys Boys... and a headache!

Firstly... I must apologise for the lateness of this post... I've had a stinking headache since yesterday afternoon that just wouldn't shift... it's dulled down now hence I am posting my DT card for Cupcake Craft Challenges...

This week our challenge has been chosen by our lovely Sari Sunshine, who would like to see  BOY THEMED CREATIONS... something you'd give to a lad. 

Now my card, as you can see is a get well card...   I made it for my uncle who has recently had a kidney removed... thankfully he's doing much better several weeks on from his op! I've used the gorgeous Chester Get Well Pollycraft image from Little Miss Muffet Stamps... how cute? All the other bits and bobs are from my stash, I have had them for like FOREVER! He's coloured with Flexmarkers.

Winged Things

Good morning all! It's a wet and cold day here... I have to say I've just about had my fill of winter weather considering it's almost JUNE! 

Anyhow, we have a fabby new challenge over at Di's Digi Designs Challenge, this fortnight we'd like you to create something that includes WINGED THINGS! So that's anything with wings! I've gone the obvious route with birds, only because I adore this digi stamp from Di's Digi Stamps called Izzy's Birdcage. Here's my DT card...

I loved colouring her, I kept it simple by just adding a few choice embellishments... I love the birdcage die and pretty ribbon (merci beaucoup Lau).

Passion for Promakers - Anniversary Challenge #199

Hello friends!

The weather here has been pants, I can't believe that we're almost into June when I see the rain outside! And talk about cold... it feels like October not May!!! On route for another rubbish summer? I'm just pleased I have my crafting and blog, it keeps you going sometimes, especially when you all leave such lovely comments... thank you :)

Enough said... the next bit of the post is much more exciting! Today is a rather special day over at Passion for Promarkers Challenge... it's our 4th Anniversary! So we're going to be kind and have an ANYTHING GOES challenge theme, you just have to use Letraset Markers (Pro, Flex Tria, Aqua, Neon etc) in your entry. Here's my DT card...

As I usually do doodling and CAS cards, so I've done things a bit differently and added some extra bits on my card today... and I realised that although I have LOTS of stash, I don't have things I need like MORE DIES... I'd have liked a small butterfly die but didn't have one so had to go with a die cut I found in my stash (Mmm not sure about this one). And NO doodling here (apart from the handwritten message)! It takes me ages to do "fussy" cards ("fussy" in a good way)... and this one isn't that "fussy"... some peeps do wonders with embellishments etc, but I just either don't find the time or run out of patience. Anyway, it turned out ok, mainly due to this gorgeous girl from Saturated Canary!

Do you Doodle?

Good morning all!

Ok are you one of those people who sits doodling on the telephone pad, or when sitting in meetings (and not listening to your boss)? Well if you are the new challenge at Passion for Promarkers is just right up your street! It's my week to choose our challenge them so I thought I'd go for DOODLEICIOUS... just include some doodling on your creation!

Lots of Layers... and that's just to keep the chill off!

Hehe!!! Just kidding... it's our new challenge at Cupcake Craft Challenge... Keeley would like us to use AT LEAST 3 LAYERS on our cards! For me I thought I'd go the recycling route by using all my off cuts... I like this method of creating an interesting background to my card. You get a bit of everything like this ;) Obviously I had to add some doodling... speaking of which, watch out for tomorrow's Passion For Promarkers Challenge card... I'm saying no more!

Do you do Bling?

Hello peeps! Happy Weekend... despite the weather being a bit dull!
 Firstly I'd like to say a BIG THANK YOU for all your well wishes for my little cat, thankfully he's a lot better, if not quite back to his usual self. He's still off his food a little, but is definately much, much better. I was SO worried about him... it's awful when animals are ill and can't tell us what's wrong.

Right, onto my card... well today at Di's Digi Designs Challenge we'd like you to SHOW US YOUR BLING! Yep bling it up as much as you like, we want TOWIE & Geordie Shore rolled into one! I have to say I'm not all that good with bling, so I struggled a bit with my DT card. I added lots of sparkles on the wings, that definatley blings it up a bit. Forest Friends

Hello peeps!

There's a new release over at Little Miss Muffet Stamps... Forest Friends! There's a lot of cute little characters including, bunnies, squirrels, deer and so many more! You can find them all HERE. I've used the adorable Rachel Rabbit on my card, as well as the butterfly and cute mushroom/toadstool images. This is a super release for Spring/Summer cards, but if you don't believe me check out the cards over at the Little Miss Muffet blog that the Little Misses have made using the new release images! How cute?

Apologies for being absent lately... my little cat has been very ill and I just haven't had the heart to blog. I've had sleepless nights and been worrying about him a LOT. We thought he might have a rare illness called Feline Dysautonomia, it's fatal in most cases. Thankfully it looks as though our suspisions were wrong, as he seems over the worst and is gradually getting back to his normal, cheeky self. I can't tell you how happy I was when he started jumping on the furniture (he's not normally allowed to do this) and doing his circus cat act!

Pieced Off!!!

No I'm not swearing at you all this morning... it's our new challenge over at Little Miss Muffet Challenges today! We would like to see some PAPER PIECING on your projects! NOT swear words!

I've used the cute Swings & Slides digi stamps called 'Nice Weather' from Little Miss Muffet Stamps, I've paper pieced her umbrella, coat and boots. It's really easy to do, just print off your image onto plain cardstock and then print the same image onto your patterned paper, then cut it out the shapes you'd like to paper piece from the patterned paper and stick them on your main (plain cardstock) image!
