Flower Frenzy

Today I have a card to share with you... it's very clean and simple (I'm liking the CAS approach a lot at the moment)... I just felt it didn't need much with this lovely Pollycraft stamp from Little Miss Muffet Stamps. I've coloured her with Triamarkers and Flexmarkers from Letraset. To finish off I couldn't resist a bit of sparkle on her wings, a sweet french sentiment and of course a bit of doodling! Easter Eggs!

Do you know what I really miss about the UK at Eastertime... Cadbury's chocolate eggs! When I was little my brother used to open my chocolate eggs and steal the sweets out of the inside, then wrap the egg back up as if brand new ;) It was probably the end of the world back then, but now, I would be more than happy just eating the chocolate egg shell! Which brings me onto the new challenge at Little Miss Muffet Challenges... HAPPY EASTER!

I've used the gorgeous Celeste Amberglow Egg Hunt from Little Miss Muffet Stamps ... she's from the new Spring Release and is just such a sweetie! For the card shape I drew a template and then cut out the shape. Just looking at this card makes me hungry! The other DT girls have made some lovely creations, so do pop by and take a peek! Perfect Weather for Butterflies... not!

Hello again! Still no sign of Spring here... yesterday we had hail stones as big as marbles (well almost)!

So here's a little reminder of  what Spring/Summer is like with our new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers today... BUTTERFLIES! On a Wing and a Prayer

Good morning! Time for a cupcake!

This week over at Cupcake Craft Challenge it's my turn to choose the theme, so I've gone with MYTHICAL CREATURES! Flying horses, unicorns, goblins, trolls, fairies, elves etc... we want to see them! Being as I'm a horse lover, I had to go with a flying horse of course :) Isn't he a cutie? He's called Nightwind, and is from our very generous sponsor Little Miss Muffet Stamps! Part 2 of the Spring release is available over at Little Miss Muffet Stamps  I've used one of the gorgeous new releases from Part 1 of the release... this cutie is called Spencer's Garden and you can find him HERE! Just perfect to cheer us up after this miserable weather... I am sick of it now! As soon as I step out the door I get hit by a blizzard or that wet, horrible snow/rain that soaks you right through! Wet and windswept with snowflakes is not a good look! I can't believe that it was 18°c here last Saturday, and now it's below zero!!!

A Little Spring in my Step

Isn't it amazing how the sunshine, birds singing and the arrival of flowers in the garden puts a little spring in your step?! Today it's especially lovely here (in fact it's even warm)... I had almost forgotten what it was like to have nice weather!

So, to mark the fast approaching new season (Spring is my favourite season), I've made this little card. And it is little too (4"x4"), just perfect to send a little 'hello' to someone. Hope you have a lovely weekend, and the sun is shining for you too!

Love Sparkle?

Good morning to you all! It's Monday and another chance to take part in our Challenge over at Cupcake Craft...

This week my lovely teamie Sari has challenged us all to add SPARKLE to our creations! I have to admit it's not something I use very often, more's the pity! So I really enjoyed making my card... thanks Sari!

I got this lovely image for free from Saturated Canary, she's called Boobie Love... she's just gorgeous! I've had her a while but only just coloured her, how pleased I am that I did! I've added some sparkle to her hair with a gel pen, hope you can see it (if you click on the image you can get a closer look). I've used lots of odds and ends that I've had in my craft stash for ages, like the Papermania pearls and the Anna Griffin paper; I just never knew how I'd use them before. The sentiment was one I sourced from the internet, sorry can't remember where... I've had it forever too!
