The Creative Cottage Challenge 24 - Bling It On

Hi! Today it's a new challenge over at The Creative Cottage Challenge blog, and the lovely Suzie who is our host this fortnight wants us to 'Bling It On'... yup that means LOTS of bling and sparkle on your projects! For my card I've used the fabulous new 'Snow Much Fun' digi kit from The Creative Cottage Shop, you just print out the topper which is all ready for you to cut out and layer up and add the paper of your choice! I printed this fab snowman paper, so cute! The checked paper is also from the kit. For my bling I've used glitter (lots of it), tinsel ribbon and a cute silver star. I'm entering my card for the following challenges:

Cupcake Craft Challenge 110 Pink & Brown

Good morning peeps! Well, that's the weekend gone again... where does the time go to? I find that the weeks are just flying by, soon it'll be Christmas and I haven't even started doing my cards... erm I'd better get a move on!

Today we have a colour challenge for you at Cupcake Craft Challenge, our fabulous Faye has chosen Pink & Brown in honour of our super challenge blog! So we'd like to see your lovely Cupcake coloured creations... so long as they're pink & brown ;) For my little card I went for a Magnolia stamp, I don't use these that often now so thought Tilda deserved a day out of her box! She's coloured with Promarkers. The papers, ribbon & sentiment are all Papermania (more stash that never sees the light of day). The flowers are handmade using circle punches. Finally a few pearls finish the look. I'd like to enter my card for a few challenges, here goes:

It's been a while...

... since I made a card using a Penny Black image so here's one I did following the sketch at Penny Black Saturday Challenge...

I bought some Stickeroos a while back and thought I'd use one... saves time colouring (I was a bit pushed for time as I wanted to get the card in the post)... the red paper is from Papermania, it has a linen effect, the blue paper is from K & Co. The sentiment (which is one of my faves) is a stamp from Penny Black.

Well, finally it rained here... I've been virtually doing a rain dance for the last fortnight... in the UK it never stops raining and here in the centre of France it never starts! You should see the state of my lawn... well it looks more like dust with straw on it! I've given up even trying to make it look half decent! No I'm not crazy wishing for rain, but being English I do like to see a green lawn! Pity we couldn't do an exchange!

Cupcake Craft Challenge 109 Transport

Hello! Today's challenge at Cupcake Craft Challenges is 'Transport'. My lovely DT buddy Donna has chosen the theme this week and she would like to see our creations with a link to Transport, which can be interpreted in many forms! So come on use your imagingation... I have to admit my mojo went walkabout with this one, but I created my colourful little card using an Artemio stamp set and some pigment inks... no Promarkers insight here! I've added a little ribbon and the wheel is attached with a brad so it turns, all the text is hand written using a Letraset fineliner.

The Creative Cottage Challenge #23 Birthday Boy

Me again! I bet you're sick of me this week?! Anyway, today it's challenge time at The Creative Cottage Challenge and this fortnight it's my turn to pick the theme... I've chosen 'Birthday Boy'. Basically I'd like you to do a birthday card for a boy/man... simples!!!

I love making 'boy' cards, and this one is a card I made for my brother... he doesn't really have as big a belly as that but he defo has that telly... nought but footie in his house! The papers and embellishments are from the oh so cute 'Little Monkeys Wild West Adventure' digi kit from The Creative Cottage... I think this is probably my fave kit so far! The image is made up using stamps from Papermania, It's a Man's World, except the TV table which I drew. The sentiment is from the same stamp set. I'm entering my card into the Allsorts Challenge and A Spoon Full Of Sugar Challenge which both have 'Colours of Autumn' as the theme.

Cupcake Craft Challenge 108 - Sketch

Hello peeps! Just wanted to share my DT card for Cupcake Craft Challenge... our challenge this week has been set by the lovely Liza who has designed a sketch for you...

And here's my card following the sketch...

I've used a lovely Lili of the Valley image (again) which I coloured with Promarkers and distressed a little with Distress Inks. I've used a doily for the first time on my cards, not bad eh, what do you think? The paper is from a Papermania pad, the corners are done using my Martha Stewart punch and I've added a few pearls, ribbon and charm to finish off.

One For The Boys

Hello! I don't know what it is but I just really enjoy doing 'boy' cards at the minute. Maybe it's because they're less fuss and as I can't put lots of flowers on the card then I don't have to think too much about embellishments! So I just couldn't resist having a go at this week's challenge over at Lili of the Valley which is 'One For The Boys'... any excuse to use one of these super cute stamps (becoming a bit of a habit... my last card was a LOTV stamp too)! I've coloured the image with Promarkers, which is also another habit of mine lol! The paper is from 'Love - Jesse Edwards' 8 x 8 pad, Papermania and the little sentiment is from Cuddly Buddly. I'm also entering my card in the Fab n Funky Challenge 'What eva' ... basically do anything you like!

Cupcake Craft Challenge 107 Books & Stories

Good morning all! Well there's the weekend gone again, so it's Cupcake Craft Challenge time! This week our challenge theme has been chosen by la gentille Catherine, and linking in with the return to school Catherine would like to see creations with a connection to Books & Stories! This is a great theme Catherine which took me back a few years! My card was inspired by books I used to read as a girl... horsey books... by the Pullein-Thompson sisters. The three sisters used to write fab fictional stories about girls and ponies which were just up my street! I spent many a late night hiding under my duvet with a torch reading my book!

I've used this lovely stamp from Lili of the Valley called 'Me & My Pony', coloured with Promarkers. The papers are from My Minds Eye 'Bloom & Grow' pack. The little sentiment is from Papermania. I'm entering my card into the challenge at Stamp Something which is to stamp 'Something Cute'.

On a personal note I just want to apologise for not getting round your blogs much lately, things are a bit full on here at the minute and I have a few worries which are keeping me away from crafting and blogging. The Creative Cottage Challenge # 22 Celebrations!

Hi, how ya doing? Well I'm totally wrecked to be honest... just wish I could win the lottery and become a lady of leisure! Speaking of lottery wins... Rebekah has chosen our theme over at The Creative Cottage this fortnight which is 'Celebrations'... any kind of celebration counts so I chose to do a card for my nephew who just passed his GCSE's...

I've used this cute freebie digi image that I found at Hambo Stamps... bargain or what?! He's coloured with Promarkers of course! The paper is from the gorgeous Little Monkeys Pirate Adventure kit and the stars and ribbon are from the Little Monkeys Wild West kit, both from The Creative Cottage! These two kits have got to be my faves to date! I don't know what it is but I'm warming more and more to 'boy' type cards. I'm entering my card into the challenge at Totally Papercrafts which is 'Clean & Simple'.
