Meet Dudley...

Hello, hello! Today it's a quick inspirational post from me... I've used a cute Pollycraft digi stamp DUDLEY BALLOON on my card today, he's one of the new releases this month over at Little Miss Muffet Stamps. There's loads of stamps to chose from, both rubber and digi... check out my post below this one as we also have a blog hop going on at the moment! I set myself a challenge with this one, I had to colour him in Copics ONLY! As I only have a few Copics, all bright/primary colours then it really was a bit of an experiment, especially as this was the first image I've coloured in Copics. I think he's turned out ok, considering ;) I did use a blue Flexmarker for the sky though as I don't have a light blue Copic marker. He's such a cute dinosaur!

I've coloured her with my Letraset markers, drawn the ground/little flowers and the mushrooms are a stamp I had in my stash. Papers are old ones from Stampin' Up.

TIC TAC TOE

Hiya peeps!

Soooo... did you get all romantic yesterday for Valentine's Day? I got a bunch of flowers (although I did ask for them) and hubby surprised me by taking a day off work to take me out for the day! Ahhh... I thought that was sweet of him ;)

Right, today I have been insprired by some Spring colours, needed cheering up! We have a new challenge over at Di's Digi Designs Challenge, and the theme is TIC TAC TOE... here's the grid (you can use any 3 in a row, across, down or diagonal)...

For my DT card I've gone with Digi (Wendy's Birthday Cakes from Di's Digi Stamps), Die Cuts (number three from Dienamics) and Flowers (Wild Orchid Crafts)! Don't you just love his balloons?! I'm loving the bright colours too! I used paper scraps for the background and the balloon embellishments were hand cut (I didn't have anything appropriate so made them). Coloured with Flexmarkers and Copics. This Little Piggy...

Hey! Hope you're all doing ok, I've been a little distracted from blogging lately... last week I was slicing courgettes on a mandolin and well let's just say they slice fingers better! So after a trip to A & E, 3 hours later I had a glued finger with a mummy size bandage on it! Ever seen kids struggle to colour within the lines... well that was me... took me 3 attemps to do this little piggy! BUT today I'm back with my DT card for Passion for Promarkers Challenge, and this week it's my turn to chose the theme! As Valentine's Day is just around the corner I've chosen HAVE A HEART... you don't have to do a Valentine's card, but your projects must include hearts! Here's my card...

How cute is he?! This little piggy (no, he doesn't go to market) is a from Pollycraft but is unfortunately no longer available (sadly the Pollycraft online shop is no longer open), he's called Hogs and Kisses (he came with the sentiment).
