Hello Spring!

Good morning peeps!

Our challenge over at Di's Digi Designs Challenge is HELLO SPRING... so we want to see your Spring inspired creations this fortnight! Please remember to follow our theme if you'd like to join and and be eligible to win a prize, some people have been entering just anything (i.e. not following the theme, which is a bit annoying. I've used a gorgeous digi stamp from Di's Digi Stamps called Izzy's Chickadee... totally cute! I coloured her using Promarkers and Trias from Letraset. I've gone to town with embellishments (for me anyhow)... hope you like it :) Have a fab weekend!

Make it Green

Yey it's March... Spring shouldn't be far away now, surely! I do have a few daffs out in my garden, I just love Spring flowers! 

Right, onto my card today. We have a fab new challenge at Di's Digi Designs Challenge and this fortnight we want you to MAKE IT GREEN... here's my DT card...

Hmmm, lots of zingy colours, perfect for Spring! I was a little inspired by my lovely daffodils for this card :) I've used the gorgeous Izzy's Birdcage digi stamp from Di's Digi Stamps, coloured with my Flexmarkers (and a few Copics). Obviously I've gone with the green colour theme, but I've also used old stash (flowers, doily, buttons and papers) which have been hanging around forever, so I like to think I've done a bit of recycling too.

TIC TAC TOE

Hiya peeps!

Soooo... did you get all romantic yesterday for Valentine's Day? I got a bunch of flowers (although I did ask for them) and hubby surprised me by taking a day off work to take me out for the day! Ahhh... I thought that was sweet of him ;)

Right, today I have been insprired by some Spring colours, needed cheering up! We have a new challenge over at Di's Digi Designs Challenge, and the theme is TIC TAC TOE... here's the grid (you can use any 3 in a row, across, down or diagonal)...

For my DT card I've gone with Digi (Wendy's Birthday Cakes from Di's Digi Stamps), Die Cuts (number three from Dienamics) and Flowers (Wild Orchid Crafts)! Di has loads of Digi Stamps to choose from so pop by her online store at Di's Digi Stamps and grab yourself a few! I coloured Wendy with Letraset Flexmarkers.

You can find this adorable digi stamp, and lots more over at Di's Digi Stamps. I've coloured using Promarkers and Flexmarkers, using DOTS for the ground and sky background. I've tried to include lots of spots and dots, even in my doodling ;-)

Good morning peeps! Well I seem to be getting back into the crafty swing of things after not being able to craft or blog in the later part of 2013... and I must say I have missed it!
