Magnolia Thank You

Good afternoon blogging friends! Well the snow has well and truly gone here, but it's made way for the rain...how long until Spring?!

I have a little thank you card to share with you today, I've used one of the Tilda stamps I got at the end of last year, she was feeling a bit lonely in her little box...

I've done this card for three challenges (I'm on a roll at the minute - I can't remember the last time I did so many challenges), Just Magnolia challenge which is to make a Thank You card (a nice easy one), Colour Create would like to see you use the colours Kraft, Blue & White (I love these colours together), and finally I've used the super sketch from Friday Sketchers.

It's been a while since I've done a card using a Magnolia stamp, and doing this one made me remember how much I like these stamps. I think this is definately my favourite card of late, I just love the colour combo. The papers I used here are ones I won over a year ago and haven't used, why I don't know as they're just lovely. They're from a Norwegian company called 3ndy Papir. Well, for anyone who's interested, here's the what I used to create the card...

Ingredients

Stamp - Tilda holding rose - Magnolia
Promarkers to colour
Sentiment stamp - Stampin' Up
Corner stamp - Meredith Fenwick Designs
Paper - 3ndy Papir
Pearls - Bunny Zoe's Crafts
Ribbon & Lace from stash (ribbon is vintage - hubby's gran's)
Sparkle (on rose, wings & hair) - Sakura Gel Pen

Well that's all for today, thanks for popping by, take care x

Snow is Falling tra la la...

Yep I woke up this morning to a covering of lily white snow and it hasn't stopped falling since! It looks lovely but I had to go out earlier and the roads were lethal to say the least! Safely home now and thought I'd share a couple of cards with you...

Ok this little Tilda (Magnolia) is feeling a bit chilly so she's been gathering a bit of wood to put on the fire. I'm entering her for the Stampin For The Weekend challenge which is "Blue & Brown". I've used Promarkers to colour her, the paper is from a Norwegian company called 3ndy Papier, and the lace was a treasure my father-in-law found for me in an old family sewing box!

This little Father Christmas and snowy fence are also Magnolia stamps, again the paper etc is as above. I've used Promarkers again, and the lovely "Joyeux Noêl" greeting was done using a clear set from Artemio. I'm entering this card into the Just Magnolia challenge "It's Christmas".

Well, the snow is STILL falling outside, so I feel a crafting afternoon is in order! Thanks for visiting my blog, and if you do venture out today, be extra careful!

Ho Ho Ho!!!

Well, as the days are getting shorter and the weather colder it must mean we're getting closer to Christmas! So today I've spent some time using a few of my new stamps, one of which is this adorable Santa Claus from Magnolia...

I have to say, I had planned on doing this card for the distressing challenge on Just Magnolia but I just never got the time, so instead I've finally finished the card, distressing an' all but for three other challenges...Cupcake Craft Challenges where the theme this week is "Snow Much Fun", A Spoonfull of Sugar "Create a Scene" and Cute Card Thursday which is "Glitter Me Silly". I have to say it was pretty time consuming, what with the colouring, cutting out, distressing etc etc... so I won't be doing 10 like this one! Here's what I used:

* Santa stamp (Magnolia)
* Promarkers to colour
* Cuttlebug Embossing Folder (Snowflakes)
* Paper (3ndy Papier, Norway)
* Snowflake punch (Woodware)
* Sentiment from 99p set
* buttons and lots of glitter (although difficult to see on photo)
* Distressing Tool and Emery Board

Ok, better get back to the craft desk, I have a pile of DT cards and requests to do!

Cold, Windy and Some New Rubber!!!

Well it's the 1st November and don't we know it! The weather here in France has drastically changed overnight! It's wet, cold and windy...just the type of weather to stay indoors and craft! Here's a little card that goes well with today's weather (although it's snowing on the card and not raining)...

I've used one of my new Magnolia stamps that my hubby bought me, isn't she lovely! I don't envy her out in all weathers though! She's coloured with my lovely Promarkers, the papers are Papermania Venetian Skies, and I've used some Martha Stewart snowflakes (thanks Denise). The theme for this week's Just Magnolia challenge is 'Monochrome', so I've gone for a frosty blue look! I've also added lots of sparkle as the theme at Simon Says Stamp is 'All That Sparkles', here's a close up of the sparkle...

Well that's all for today, apart from a little bit of info I have to share about tomorrow. I'm part of a Blog Hop that will be going on tomorrow and is for a very good, but sad cause. To find out more please pop back to my blog at 3pm (GMT)tomorrow, thanks in advance for your support.

I've been SPOILT and a couple of cards!

Well, guess what my lovely hubby presented to me today... it was a total surprise...but he said he knew I'd appreciate it... only the 56 new Promarkers!!! Wow!!! How spoilt am I? He's only gone and spent a fortune on me again! Oh but they're sooooooo yummy, I just had to do a card with them straight away...

The card is for the Just Magnolia challenge, which is a great sketch by Bev!

I used:
- Tilda with Rose stamp (Magnolia)
- Promarkers (New colours - Tea Green, Grey Green, Burgandy, Dusky Rose, Pale Pink)
- Paper Wild Asparagus (My Minds Eye)
- Cuttlebug Embossing folders (Script, Swiss Dots)
- Cardstock & Pearl Brads (Papermania)
- Charm (The Hobby House)

I've also done a card for the Truly Scrumptious challenge, which was a sketch by Heather and to use only 3 stamps...

The cute Snowman is called "Happy & Cool" from Penny Black. The other two stamps are the Ponsettias (stamps from an old See D's set).

My final card today is for The Sugar Bowl challenge, which is another fab sketch, this one is by Marlene. You also have to use the colours pink and brown on your card...

Well, that's all for today, off for a little play with my new pens before I head off to bed! Good Night!
