Fun in the Sun!

Hey all!

I'm back again with a card for the new Pollycraft Challenge, this fortnight Lisa has chosen FUN IN THE SUN, perfect considering the weather we've all been having recently! Here's my card using one of the Lil' Dumplings characters, Nipper...

This is a small card (4"x4") so I've kept the embellishments to a minimum. I have to apologise though... I went a bit tantastic with my Promarkers and gave Nipper a nasty case of sunburn on his face... oops! He's definately had his shades on though!

Blue and Green... love these colours!

Good morning peeps! I have a card for you today... it seems like a while since I posted one. Anyway, it's for the new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers today... SUMMERTIME BLUES (BLUE + ONE OTHER COLOUR not including skin, hair or in my case fur)... obviously I've chosen GREEN as the other colour...

I totally LOVE this little character! He's called Scooter (this image is Scooter's Puddles) and you can find him as well as lots of other fab digital stamps over at Pollycraft!

Cheerio to Cupcake Craft Challenge

Hi folks!

No card from me today... I just wanted to say that unfortunately Cupcake Craft Challenges will no longer be running, at least for the foreseable future. I have been on the Cupcake DT for what seems like many years now, we have totted up a fantastic 250 challenges since Cupcake started and I have made some really great friends there. Sadly, Faye, our lovely Cupcake mummy has had to make the difficult decision to close Cupcake... well at least take a sabbatical so no more Cupcake challenges for a bit! I hope you've enjoyed playing along with us over the years, maybe we'll be back sometime in the future. For now though, I'd just like to send a big hug to Faye and all the Cupcake girls... hopefully I'll see you around Blogland! Thank You!

Today at Little Miss Muffet Stamps we have a new release... and a whole new look for Little Miss Muffet Stamps! The release is a Christmas one from Pollycraft, I have used Santa's Reindeer stamp for my card. You can find it in the What's New section in the shop. Here's my card...

How pretty are those colours? Here's my GDT card for the challenge...

Simple, but sweet :) I've used Swings 'n Slides Ice Cream Cart and Swings 'n Slides Sweet Sentiments, both by Pollycraft and available at Little Miss Muffet Stamps (I coloured the images with Promarkers). These stamps are now only available in rubber, I used the digital versions so the sizes may vary. Hope you can join in with the challenge!

Ruby, Ruby, Ruby, Ruby...

Hiya folks! I just can't get that song by the Kaiser Chiefs out of my head... it's what made me chose the new challenge theme over at Pollycraft Challenges today... RUBY RED! Also RUBY is the birthstone for July. Here's my card, using Shelby from the Lil Dumplings range at Pollycraft...

We'd like to see RED as the dominant colour in your creations this fortnight. Red isn't a colour I use a lot of... it kind of scares me when I colour with it lol! I coloured her with Promarkers... I thought I'd give her red hair too... so I hope she's used Factor 50 sunscreen with her complexion! I really enjoyed doing this little card (it's 4"x4" so dinky), and I used paper scraps from my scrap box. The little bikini I have had FOREVER... I thought it was perfect for my card.
