Has it been THAT long?

Wow it seems like forever since I've been here... well since I've blogged. Thank you for all the kind comments and wishes of congratulations on the birth of our baby girl! I have to say I have been VERY busy looking after her... and how time has flown! Can't believe that Darcie is already 3 months old! We've had a bit of a trying time, Darcie suffers from reflux which wasn't picked up until she was almost a month old so it's been a worrying time, but we're managing it and she seems a little happier. Anyway, here are a few pictures of her...

She has changed so much from that tiny baby we brought home from the hospital in July! Such a cutie, and she's got all her buttons on to! I love her so much!

My Gorgeous Daughter

Just a quick post... I have been rather busy lately! I'd just like to introduce the newest member of our family, our first baby! Darcie  arrived on the 7th of July 2014, weighing 2.780kg and measuring 47cm. Mammy and baby are doing just fine, although the labour was not a piece of cake (OMG thought I was dying), but we were rewarded with a beautiful, baby girl! She's just perfect, and we can't believe how lucky we are! Here's a few pictures...

Remember Me?

OK, so I've been absent for quite some time... sorry! I do have an excuse though... I'm almost 38 weeks pregnant! I haven't done any crafting, or blogging for weeks now, just feeling exhausted and have had other things on my mind. Anyway, here's an update on my bump...

My bump @ 32 Weeks

This is at 35 weeks (notice the tree on the wall... stickers, I love it!) Bear isn't looking too impressed!

And today (almost 38 weeks)... not much difference from 35 weeks but baby has grown and weighs 2.7kg now (approx).

And finally a pic of baby's room, part of it anyhow. We now have a cot which is on the left, next to the mobile (didn't have it when I took this picture). Hope baby will like the room!

Oh... just to say baby is now head down... HURRAY! But the bad news is that they may have to induce me  early (I have a few health concerns with the pregnancy)... I'm really scared that the induction will not go to plan and I end up having a C section!

Baby's Room Update...

Hiya peeps!

You've probably all lost interest in my blog by now, I'm not doing any crafting at the moment. I have got some pictures to share with you though... we've been busy doing baby's room, it's not quite finished, but my Dad came over and did all the decorating (We went for white & grey), so it's just the finishing touches to do really. Here's a sneak peek so far...

I made a quilt and some bunting for baby's room, here's a few close ups...

There are some fab tutorials on the net for making quilts/bunting... and it didn't take that long to make these (and I'm a beginner really). The bunting was really simple to do, and I think it looks quite cute!

The room isn't totally finished, we have the crib to add and a few more things... I'll take a few pictures when all is done so you can see it all finished. Hopefully I'll be back crafting/blogging soon too! 

I'm now almost 33 weeks pregnant, and my baby bump is definately growing. I had a scan last week, all ok except that baby is breech!!! I have some excercises to do to encourage baby to turn head down... if not it'll be a programmed C-Section delivery. I'm keeping all fingers crossed that baby decides to turn! Has anyone had any experience of baby turning late on? I see my doctor mid-June so baby needs to turn before!

A Little Update...

Hello peeps!

Ok, so it's been a while! Maybe you're wondering what's happened to me (I am wondering what's happened to me)... well just to keep you in the loop... I'm now fast approaching my 8th month of pregnancy and am starting to feel tired... VERY TIRED! Baby is moving and kicking, especially at night, so I don't always get the sleep I need. We have also started re-organising the house in preparation for baby. My Dad recently decorated the spare room for little one's arrival (I'll take some pics and post them on here soon), so everything that was in the spare room (well junk room) is now piled high in my craft room!!! I can't even get into my craft room for boxes and boxes of STUFF! Grrr! This is why I have not been able to make anything lately, well not cards anyway. I did make a baby quilt and some bunting for baby's room, I'll have to take a picture of that too, so be back soon with another update! Thanks for popping by xx

So Sentimental...

Good morning peeps! 

Firstly I want to say a BIG THANK YOU for all the lovely well wishes I received in my last post!!! I'll keep you posted with news, and of course when baby arrives! A few months to go yet though!

Now, we have a new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers, SO SENTIMENTAL, we want you to use a sentiment on your project, easy! Here's my DT card...

I haven't used a Penny Black stamp for ages, so thought I'd use this cute stamp called A Stitch in Time. The sentiment is from a clear set by Hero Arts. The lovely papers are from my friend Faye! I used my Letraset Tria markers to colour... don't forget if you want to join in the challenge you must use your Letraset markers (Promarker, Flexmarkers, Tria, Aqua etc...). Right... I will now SPILL THE BEANS! You may have noticed that I've not been visitng you all much recently, and have only been blogging for my DT posts. Well, it's not because I don't want to visit you all, or do any crafting but I've been feeling quite tired etc these last few months because...

 I'm PREGNANT! Six months now... but the first few months were difficult so I kept things quiet (except for a few peeps who knew)... but now there's no hiding my growing bump, so there you have it! I hate my picture taken, so have just featured the bump in the photo! This is our first baby and hubby and I are over the moon, we can't wait to meet our new little one! I'm feeling more and more movement which is really exciting! Baby is due in July, so hopefully the weather won't be too hot this summer... not good when you're heavily pregnant, I suppose!?

So... please forgive me if I don't get around to visit you all as often as I should, it's just I often fall asleep on an evening so struggle to keep my eyes open to blog! Sending you all lots of hugs xx
