The Creative Cottage Challenge 31 - Shaped Cards

Do you ever wish there was more hours in the day? Yeah well if there was at the moment then that would be cool as I haven't had any time to craft lately! I'm hoping to have a bit of me time this weekend so will be able to get creative and do a bit of blog hopping, about time too!

The Creative Cottage Challenge this fortnight is 'Shaped Cards' and the theme has been chosen by the super talented Tracy, who owns and runs The Creative Cottage Shop. I've taken an easy option by doing a hexagone shaped card, but you could do an easel card, multiple-fold card etc... check out the DT girls' cards for more inspiration ideas. I've used the lovely Home Sweet Home digi kit from The Creative Cottage and have gone all out on the stitching. Here's a close up...

The little sentiment is from Lili of the Valley, and the cute flowers are punched out using my Nellie Snellen punches, again! I'm entering my card into the challenge at:
Fab n Funky - Animal Magic (Birdie in tree)
Papertake Weekly Challenge - Ribbons & Pearls
Simon Says Stamp - BINGO! My line is 'Punch/Flowers/Gems'
There's a fab new kit up for grabs this week to the lucky winner called Bradley Bee, here's a quick card I made with this kit to give you an idea...

I'm entering Bradley Bee into the challenge at
Wild Orchid Challenge - Let's get sentimental
Why not join us this fortnight and take a trip out of your comfort zone and make something other than a square or rectangular card?

Coucou ! C'est original de réaliser une carte hexagonale, j'aime beaucoup ta création !
Tout comme toi, je voudrais des journées un peu plus longues :-))
Oh des nuits plus longues aussi, notamment le w-e, je suis adepte des grasses matinées hihi !
Bisous !
